pretty interesting series so far, you should definately continue it.

There is more planned (even written) and it will eventually cross with the movie itself. When I get a round to it. (sigh...)

i really liked it and hope to read more soon & i hope there's one where oz & willow meet Xander's family in LA :P

Thanks... I have stuff planned for up until the end of season 5 (Glory) at which point I will be moving to the first movie. After that, I have other plans. It's just a matter of actually getting it written, though ;)

Very good- and Dom knows by graduation- i can't help but wonder since you kinda have the summers at the end of season 1 and 2 to play with when Dom finds out...it would be interesting if you managed to wait until partway through season 2 where the whole Angelus thing is going down and Xan gets hurt when they find out...that way you get to write a summer where Xan is all sneaky about his secret and hiding things and Dom and co get worried about him thinking an array of things like Tony abusing Xan or something...you would have a lot to work with...espeically if Xan does a little bit of hunting in LA and gets hurt...

this is over the whole series please excuse me not reviewing each chapter but it was so good i didn't slow down long enough between chapters to think twice. excellent work (have i mentioned i have a thing for Vin Diesel) and Xan has always been a fave of mine so where could you go wrong:)

I've read everything in your family series so far, it's pretty good. Are you going to continue with Freshman Summer or show what happens after Graduation?

Yep. I have plans to follow (getting more AU as I go) right up to the end of Season 5, at which point I'll do the movie, and then I have plans to cross over to a new 'verse, but that will be a new series. I may cross back to the movies and Buffy, but those are far less set in stone. (Especially since the second and third movie don't actually feature the Toretto family, and I haven't seen the latest movie, neither have I read the Buffy comics.)

I hope we get to see more of the interaction between Xander his family between pts 1 & 2. Did he get to spend any summers with Dom's family (since I'm sure Tony would be happy to get rid of him for a few months each year)?

Up until around the first year of college I liked Buffy well enough, even with her frequent selfish actions - but they were all kids and they all had some of that happening, so she didn't especially stand out as any worse than the rest. I think that if Buffy & Willow do some serious thinking over the summer and somehow get to understand that you have to BE a true friend and SHOW some true loyalty in order to inspire or maintain that reaction in others (Xander), that their friendships with Xander over the next few years would only get stronger. I wonder how that would affect the story from this point out? If the girls do manage to properly 'grow up', meeting Dom & his crew, and Xander seriously thinking about moving to LA could have some major affects on future events.

Yeah, Summers are going to be a major part of the story. After all, why feed and nurture your child when you can pass him off to someone else? And, yes, there may be some fairly AU parts to the story. That said, he was a major player, and very necessary to some of the plots, so...

Yay, you go Xander! I liked this very much. I liked that Dom stuck up for Xander where Xan wouldn't. It's pretty obvious what would be best for Xander...at least until he realized that Angel moved to LA too.

One of the (many) things I liked about the movie was the family feeling. They may not be the Cleavers (never actually saw that show, don't think I'd like it, Morticia is the only sitcom mother worth considering ;) ) but they are a Family.
