Review:
i do hope you come back to this and all your other stories, i love them all :D
Comments from author:
I have several chapters for this handwritten in a notebook, but I am, unfortunately, easily distracted. Also, I don't necessarily like what I have.

I absolutely plan on finishing this, but life loves distracting me and keeping from focusing on my more complicated, older stories.

I love their banter! Great story! A few typos here and there, but not enough to detract from the overall story. Thanks for sharing this!

Review:
Ha. Super nerds to the rescue!

I can't believe I missed an update on DAwn Potter. Booo to me.

I kind of hope that Dawn will be a major force in making Willow realize the value of getting magically trained. Also Giles would have to see that having somebody untrained with the ability is a *very* bad idea.

Darling I forgot, are you planning on killing Jesse off? I miss the Eric Balfour of the nineties, he was such a studmuffin and he'd get along *great* with Ginny. *Cough* Looks shiftily over shoulder.

Anyway, I xo you and your talent. Keep writing!
Comments from author:
I haven't decided if I'm killing Jesse yet. Josh thinks I should, that it was an important lesson the Scoobies needed to learn.

Dawn's going to figure out about Willow and Amy. She might even be able to stop them from getting hooked on Dark Arts, I dunno yet.

I do like Jesse...I dunno.

I'm enjoying the story. There are some spelling/missing word errors here and there, and maybe some characters (like Hagrid) could be written better, but I enjoy the plot of the story and look forward to more.

I like Dawn and Giles interacting too. But I hate her being shipped off. Dumbledore is such a great mage he forgets to be human.
Comments from author:
This is less Dumbledore, and more me as an author trying to get past a plothole.

As I started to plan out, in my head, Dawn's sixth year, I realized that having Dawn at Hogwarts while Harry, Ron and Hermione were out hunting horcruxes was not feasible. They would have taken her prisoner and used her against Harry. Hiding her at the Weasleys or the Lovegoods, or Privet Drive wouldn't work either. And she couldn't go with them because she was underage, and still had the Trace on her. So I needed her to be somewhere that she couldn't be located just because of the Trace. The Hellmouth is guarded from the Taboo detection spell as well.

Dumbledore looked ahead, realized he was going to die, which would leave Hogwarts vulnerable, and decided to put the Key in a place where Voldemort couldn't find her. Yeah, he can be cold and calculating, but it's better than her being in hiding somewhere she can't leave the house, or being locked up on Azkaban, or Malfoy Manor, or being tortured by Death Eaters, right? And at least she has the mirror, so she can talk to Harry, and she still has her DA coin, so she'll be able to communicate with the others as well. And Dawn gets to make new friends, and learn new things. Don't feel sorry for Dawn, she's making the best of an annoying situation. And as soon as Voldemort is defeated, she can go back to England...if she still wants to. ;-)

Review:
Wonderful chapter. I wonder how long it will take before Dawn wants to do something not to nice to Cordy and friends for the way that they treat Willow and possibly her when they find out that she is such a nerd. ^_^ I love the bank and car conversations. I am as always eagerly awaiting the next installment to this wonderful story.
Comments from author:
Okay, Cordy and Harmony will drop Dawn pretty quickly when they realize she actually likes hanging out with Willow, and is a total nerd.

I'm glad you like it. And I'm totally working on the next chapter of Four Square right now. (I thought that might make you giddy.)

I'm glad you stick with me, you're one of my most awesome readers.

Review of chapter "Cauldrons and Fashionistas" from Angelfirenze
Review:
*sighs* I couldn't find a way not to say that Dawn's adventures in Sunnydale have been completely cute so far. I hope she and Buffy don't both fall for Angel -- at least here her falling for Xander would make more sense since she and Buffy are now the same age.

Bravo!
Comments from author:
She's not going to fall for anyone. She's completely in love with George. She's loved him since she was eleven and he rescued her from her cupboard. I mean, I have made it obvious, right? She told him she loved him, and he said it back.

And I already know who Xander's, eventually, going to wind up with. My plans may change, but I've had a particular partner planned for him since the beginning.

Of the relationships that are in the story right now, Dawn/George is possibly the only one that will last.

Having Dawn in Sunnydale from the beginning, especially a magically trained Dawn, is going to cause a lot of changes, just like her presence altered Harry's timeline; although not massively. They're going to be small changes, mostly.

I'm glad you like it. :D

Review of chapter "Snogging and Hellmouths" from Angelfirenze
Review:
Well, now I want to cry. Though the idea of Harry/Luna/Draco was...well, that was hot. But crying is in order. Then the hot. Hopefully, Harry won't be as idiotic about 'Sectumsempra' this time around. I really love Snape's Potions book and would love it if Harry actually got to keep it.
Comments from author:
I love the idea of Harry/Luna/Draco. I hadn't been intending to go in that direction, although I definitely like the visual.

Eventually, Luna is going to wind up with somebody who I think is perfect for her. And Harry and Draco will also flip-flop over different people (Ahh, teen romances, the way they sometime last a week. *sigh*

I haven't really detailed the contents of Luna and Harry's dates, but I imagine a tiny bit of it involves them talking about how pretty Draco is. *giggles*

I really want to write the bathroom scene, but because the story is from Dawn's perspective, I don't know if it's feasible. Maybe Harry will just tell her what happened.

We shall see.

Review:
I love these chapters that I just read from the last time I reviewed. The fact that it was Dawn who killed Glory is wonderful I love that idea. Hiding Dawn on the hellmouth should be interesting, I have to wonder how the whole Buffy thing is going to be different with Giles and Dawn both having magic, I really have a problem seeing Dawn standing by and doing nothing when she could help in some way or another. I am as always eagerly awaiting the next installment to this wonderful story.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I love the idea of Buffy having a trained witch in her crew during the first 2 seasons. This is definitely going to continue to move towards AU, as different things change due to Dawn being a Potter and not a Summers.

Glad you like it!
