Review of chapter "Chapter One" from LordSia
... Ouch. Xander's on a roll.
Funny fic, though it sort of doesn't make any sense. Why would Xander suddenly go back? Wouldn't it make more sense to have him live the life of a Hero, "die" young in some suitably epic or ironically pathetic event, *then* return?
Oh, and it's also too short. But so is all the good stuff.
Comments from author:
tx for the review and for the too short part...there is a sequel after all which is on chapter 16 so far. (Hawklan)

Interesting new take on the Xander empowerment.
I like the idea of him being the son of Spiderman in a different reality.
I have read of at least one sci fi book in which the hero has different parents in the alternate

Looking forward to reading the sequel.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Bobboky
excellent... I wonder what Whistler and the PHB will think of a Spiderman on a divine mission to protect and defend the innocent. I also wonder how long it will take Dr. Strange, Mr. Fantastic, or Original Spiderman to figure out a way to get to him
Comments from author:
we will see :) Working on the first chapter of the sequel atm :)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from DHX
this gets a thumbs down from me. you had xander give up his sister his mother and father to go play hero in another world. in fact to make things worse you gave a false perception of choice, you blatantly overwrote new xander with the old insuring he would make that choice. lets get one thing straight yes xander has a white knight complex but it's not so damn strong that it would make him abandon any responsibilities in his new life to go back to his old.

most of all you had him abandon his sister, he rated buffy and her world more important than his sister. frankly that disgusts me. this is basicly a badly contrived xander empowerment fantasy.
Comments from author:
sorry you didn't like it and it wasn't meant to be an easy choice and I think Xander will realize what it really cost him later on, but is it to late then? we will see.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Genericrandom
Pretty awesome overall. Tragedy and heroism, wrapped up in a Spider-shaped package (as well it should be) doing something stupid for a ton of people that'll never really appreciate it. Except those that matter. Pretty awesome. I'd love to see more of this, as well as the M2-verse's attempts to get their friend back/back to their friend/etc. I think this one could really work well as a longer series. But either way, a fun read.
Comments from author:
thank you and there is actually a sequel already there, just have to work on it a bit more.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from BlueEyedJedi
Couldn't Peter, Mary Jane, and May come with him. They are heroes and would be welcomed as such.

Comments from author:
they are, but SD isn't there home and if they would have there wouldn't have been a choice at all would it?
