Review of chapter "Speech of the Dark." from AllenPitt
Review:
Gee, everybody in Gotham is going to hate poor Angel. He should probably not pay a visit there any time soon, heh. Though it might be fun if Connor visited. he'd make a great DC -type superhero around Batman level --- extra strength & combat ability but not very far up in the meta category... Will Robin/Batgirl continue to shadow Drusilla/Emma? I suppose Bats will be keeping close tabs on Dru for quite a while, especially if he gets any info on what she's been up to the last few years... well, the usual trail of destruction any vampire leaves, anyway. * Your next story--how about "BvS S3, vampire Willow escapes the scoobies and leaves Sunnydale..." ?

Review:
Simply marvelous. ;-)
Comments from author:
Thanks again. I've been rewatching all the Dru episodes and trying to catch her personality on paper is amazingly difficult. The BtVS writing staff deserves any and all accolades just for this character alone.

Wow, that was the equivalent of a declaration of love, coming from the Dark Knight . And if anybody can 'reattach' her soul it's Etrigan. Though I have to admit, the first few days after getting it would be pretty rocky for her. Look at poor Spike, and he wasn't crazy going in. 'Eyes like arrows' and all that stuff. Still. The scoobies will be very surprised, if they ever show up. And nobody in Gotham yet knows that there are a whole bunch of slayers now, they think Emma is "the" slayer (a reasonable conclusion to come to)--in fact I bet there were a few pairs of watcher/potentials in hiding who each thought that, when it happened... A souled Drusilla meeting Angel -that would be really awkward.... he's incredibly guilty over it all as is, if she actually understood what had happened. ouch.

Wow. Ever the master strategist. Bruce bringing Jason was like bringing a bazooka to kill an ant. Love how this tale is progressing. Best writing of Dru.

The Bat never ever does anything in half-measures.

Hm... of course none of her new friends quite realize just how dangerous Drusilla is... her madness might take another form at any moment. I sure hope Montoya hurries up on her offer to get help in the whole soul-getting department. But even as is, Spike would be proud of her right now.

All I can say is...what happens when apocalypse season rolls around?

Review of chapter "Being a Scarred Juxtaposition" from AllenPitt
Review:
and she should get credit for not killing anybody. Kind of like Buffy's (to Spike) "you want credit for not feeding on any of the victims??" -- at least so far Dru hasn't gotten the idea of putting on a costume and 'fighting crime' yet...
Comments from author:
Dru is NOT a costumed adventurer, and why would she claim credit? Those ruffians ruined her party and she just wanted them gone. She considered them pests like a raccoon family that gets into your attic. They need to be live-trapped and transported away.

Review:
I really like this story, but I have to say that the most surprising thing is the humor. I find myself laughing a many of the chapters. They are always a pleasure to read.
Comments from author:
Well thanks for the positive. I don't try to write humor, I just find it almost impossible to write angst.

Very enjoyable series. I'm glad you posted in the notes what character that first one Dru met was, for the life of me I couldn't figure out who it was. Had only ever heard of the Creeper once or twice long ago I think.
Comments from author:
The juxtaposition of the Creeper and Dru is what inspired this series. He is one of the great forgotten DC Heroes.
