I love this story. It's sweet, and great, and really, this issue was bound to come up sooner or later among the Slayers.
Just a small quibble. I understand the good intentions (protecting Tyler) behind the sentiment "We are not messing with anybody magically", but couldn't they just use magic to make Tyler's body male? That would help him, making the transition easier and more natural than surgery ever could, and save him years of discomfort in his own body. Would that transformation be prevented by the Slayer spirit?
You made me all teary-eyed :) That was... just really lovely. Despite how open the canon is to homosexuality... I've never seen anyone address the rest of the gender/sexuality curve. Makes you think.
I don't know if you plan on continuing with this series, but I'd be curious to see more of Tyler (and the rest of the Slayers and, of course, Xander and Jack :) )

I love this. First and foremost, because it's in the Bridges 'verse, which is bascially love defined. And even if Jack has only a cameo, I love all the characters in this 'verse, the slayers and the new scoobies alike. Secondly, i love how amazing Tyler's mom is. That she willingly and lovingly accepts her child however they are, and is fiercly protective of him no matter what.

This whole series is wonderful! (I loved the slow, organic development of Xander and Jack's relationship and how long it took them to 'come out' about their respective secrets.) This last story is unique and thought provoking--if you ever decide ti write more in this series, I would love to see Tyler develop. Thanks for hours of enjoyable reading!

Wow, this is surprisingly good. I've only seen one other Buffy fic involving a trans character and she was MtF, but I've always wondered what the situation would look like in a FtM perspective.
You have to keep this going, the masses demand it! ... Okay maybe we aren't demanding it but we are offering baked good filled bribes.

Awesome! I love it. It brings up an interesting case of how gender is seen by magic or whatever it is that chooses Slayers. I hope you write more about Tyler's situation.
