Chapters 13 and 14 seem to contradict Chapter 16. In Chapter 13, Joe admits to already knowing about vampires, but in Chapter 16, Adam and Faith talk about getting a vampire minion to convince Joe that demons are real. Faith tells Giles about being kidnapped in Chapter 14 and then reveals it all over again in Chapter 16. This story is interesting, especially the explanation of where Immortals come from, but you might want to edit out the contradictions.

I continue to love your INTELLIGENT Faith (who figures things out -- such as the likelihood that the infected unCalled Potential had probably lit out on her own to avoid friendly fire -- and learns languages, etc.). Faith was never stupid, but she never got much credit for brain power as opposed to muscle power in canon, and I enjoy seeing her developed further here.

Interesting foreshadowing without telling too much. We don't know if she's transforming, if her slayerness will protect her, or leave her.

Why would what's happening happen all at once? there's also the possibility that Faith being a Slayer throws a kink into things, changing it from normal.

Besides, telling everything all at once ruins the suspense : )
