I really like this universe. Rated this one slightly lower because it was mostly telling with little happening, and the somewhat predictable ending with the two of them in bed. Still, glad I read it.

I've just discovered this series and I'm totally blown away - I can't even keep track of all the good bits, let alone comment on them. To mention just a few of them : "willowed out", "Faith redeeming", and "Thullu" (alternate spelling -"Cthulhu" ?). Plot, characters, dialog, and atmosphere are all excellent. In just a few words, you've created an entire universe, completely new and yet still a plausible descendent of the Buffyverse we know. This is masterpiece. Thank you.

Massive love for this universe! As AU/futureverse as it is, the characters are still so vivid and recognizable, and the detailed worldbuilding that makes that possible is amazing. (How do you not have scads of reviews?)
As larger-scale as everything is here, a 'Thullu as Eyghon-analogue makes horrible sense. Looking forward to seeing more entries in this 'verse.

Glad you're enjoying these. I don't know why I'm not getting reviews - maybe I've stunned everyone into silence. :-)
I'm working (vaguely) on the principle that for Slayers protecting an entire galaxy the big bads have to be very big - and very, very bad. These people don't just blow up high schools - they can blow up entire planets. And maybe suns. If they have too ...

One small spelling error in the sentence: I can be a little … phased about it," she admitted wryly
'phased' should be spelt 'fazed'
Comments from author:
No it shouldn't. *g* 'phased' is their slang for being upset and irritated - derived from the tendancy of lycanthropes to 'wolf out' when celestial bodies align in certain ways.
