This was a wonderful ficlet, the imagery and the emotions were so vivid and intense. I've always enjoyed Harry/Buffy friendship or pairing fics because they do have so much in common, so much that they could understand about each other that one else could, but usually those focus on their chosen aspect and I liked that you picked something else they have in common. Great story! I'm a fan of Harry/Buffy friendship fics. They definitely have a lot of things in common (saviors of the world, children of phophesy, coming back from the dead). Anyway, I would love to see more of this fic or possible a series of fics in this vein showing snippets of Harry and Buffy's developing friendship.
