Never played this one. Wonder what kind of story the Demon had to tell when he faded back home?

It's not just the body-dead; it works on the brain-dead as well.
Comments from author:
::snicker:: Yup. I've even had it work on students who were hanging out in the hallways.

Thanks for reviewing. :)

Thank goodness it was only a dream! A bit spooky there.
Comments from author:
::grinning darkly:: Is it a dream? Or a premonition? After all, Drusilla is a seer. ::cackling wildly::

Um... er... ah...... yeah. Thanks for the review. :)

Review of chapter "Interlude 7: Fun and Games? Duck, Duck, Goose" from race
Review:
Fantastic as always. so it he going to gain any Cheshire feline attributes like a tail or the markings that he would have to hide.
Comments from author:
::tilting head in thought::
You know. I hadn't thought about that. It could be interesting. Though, if he didn't keep any after Halloween ended, I'm not sure why he'd develop them now.
Still.... I think I can work some of that in - maybe, whiskers whenever he's being particularly Cheshire-like?
It's a good idea. I'll have to play around with it. Thanks!

Thanks for the review! :)

Review of chapter "Interlude 7: Fun and Games? Duck, Duck, Goose" from Gulanticus
Review:
Its been a while. Please tell me why Duck, Duck, Goose worked? Why this vampire?
Comments from author:
The game of duck, duck, goose works that the one who is 'it' goes around the circle and touches each person on the shoulder. If they say 'duck' then the seated person doesn't do anything, however if they say 'goose' then the seated person has to chase after the one who is 'it' - they go all the way around the circle. If the 'goose' catches the one who is 'it' before they reach the empty space then the person who is 'it' has to start again. If the one who is 'it' gets to the space before being caught, then the one who was 'goose' is now 'it'.

As for why this vampire: Xander had to get someone to voluntarily exit the circle. Giles said it had to be a complete opposite ---- this particular vampire was female - blonde - older - undead - and wanted the ritual to work vs. Xander's male - dark hair - young(ish) - living - and didn't want the ritual to work.

The "game" was his Cheshire side coming out - plus, it's been proven to Xander that when he plays "games" the vamps always end up playing with him (whether they want to or not). Plus, he yanked on her hair and taunted her - I'd try to kick his butt if it had been done to me. :)

Hopefully, that helped. ::Grin:: Thanks for reviewing!

Review:
I'm still liking this story/series. Good work on continuing to find different games to use for the stories!
Comments from author:
Thanks! :) I was a bit afraid I'd lose some people due to the less playful nature of this particular chapter.
I appreciate the review!

Review of chapter "Interlude 6: Special Blend Tea Party" from Sandi
Review:
Ewwww! True vampires can dream but Drucilla would have a better chance of having tea with Xander and Dawn if she promised to be good.
Comments from author:
True. But, she's a vamp - what fun would that be?

Thanks for reviewing.

Review of chapter "Interlude 6: Special Blend Tea Party" from kayron
Review:
Boy am I glad that was a dream!! Xander can be a bit...manic now that he is blended with Cheshire Cat, but I hope he doesn't go off the deep end like Drusilla. SunnyDale would be truly scary if those two were skipping through town looking for sources of 'special blend' teas!
Comments from author:
I almost didn't make it a dream. But then realized that it would mean the end of the series as I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did that to poor Xander.
Thank you for reviewing.
