To be honest, I loved this...but only until the last chapter.
The change in their relationship was too abrupt and needed more development from Malfoy's point of view. You did wrap everything up, and the actual end was no surprise, but it felt like it needed about half a chapter more Malfoy.
I have to say that, while I am not a Draco Malfoy fan, I thought this was one of the best Draco-is-not-the-villain stories I've read.

Finished reviewing a story and yours was listed in the recommends. That is one of the nicer things about tth - stories I would probably never find otherwise.
The exchanged insults were wonderful and thanks for the happy ending? Your muse is taking you to SG1 so a sequel is unlikely. Please talk to your muse and let her know that a Watcher Draco at SGC would be lots of fun.

I also like the story recs at the end of fics. I've found a lot of good ones that way.
I'm afraid my HP muse has left and doesn't show any signs of returning in the near future. The SG-1 and Mag7 muse are currently running the show. *sigh* At least, they are when my hectic schedule finds time to let them play.

I can't believe it! You actually got me to SYMPATHIZE with Draco Malfoy and hope for a happy reunion with Dawn. What an adorable story, first snarky at its best and then genuine and caring.

Oh Wow! So sweet. So sad. Darn you for the angst, even though I secretly love it... not such a secret any more since I'm about to publish it, huh:) This chapter is my favorite so far. Everyone can relate to feelings of longing to be loved by the one they've chosen. And in this, as in everything, by careful editing along with writing, you have built the reader's emotions up and twisted them around. Fanfrickintastic!

I love the two sides of their reactions in the beginning. So close, yet so far apart. And Draco's joy as a result of her not having anyone to go to the movies with was just perfect. They both know perfectly well that she has tons of people around who'd love to go with her. But men can be dense. Maybe he's starting to get the hint? Which leads me to wonder if anyone besides Dumbledore has picked up on the attraction at this point.
Also, I'm growing concerned about the lack of demon activity. And Dawn's secret. Are the two linked? Makes me wonder what you're up to...

I love their sweet banter. But still apart. Hopefully they will squeeze in one more smooch before he finds out. Also, are you planning to continue this story? Have you already done so? I can't remember. I certainly hope so:) Although I tend to prefer Buffy as the central character in fic, I'm really enjoying this story.
