Wow. I really enjoyed that. Even though I saw the name Sky being used, in my head I was thinking that the humanizing quality suggested that Cameron (the terminator) was on the other end. Getting to the end and knowing that Skynet was being so affected by Xander suggests so many different possible futures for that world. I am off to read your other stories. Keep writing.

AAAAHHH! You convincingly manipulated me into some alternate 'verse where Skynet is the good guy. From a certain point of view. Way to play devil's advocate. You know the Scoobies are going to take down "Sky" when they learn what's really going on...
you know I've read this a couple times and a thought ran through my head, what if John Conner read this, what would his reaction be to finding out this about SKYNET, i really want to find out so could you give that a shot id appreciate it thanks

This was a very enjoyable read. So, humanity as a whole is bad, but certain elements of the human race are worth saving. Too bad that nukes are so indiscriminate. Ah well. At least Skynet has good taste in men. ~_^
P.S. I also assumed it was Cameron at first. My mistake. I still come back to this story often whenever I need a bit of a laugh, or else just a reminder of good, quality writing.

When I saw the handle "Sky" I was hoping it didn't mean what I thought it meant, but it turns out it did :( Halfway through I was hoping it was Cameron from TTSCC but it was not to be. Congratulations, you almost made skynet into a hero.

I initially thought it was Cameron talking to Xander but when the sign off was Skynet it became a much more involved yet limited human contact. I don't think I've read a story with Skynet having a voice and reasons other than self-protection.

Now this I liked! Gave me chills but still managed to squeeze in A few WAFF moments. Disturbing yet wonderful. ^_^ Please please continue this story, Its too good to rest on its laurels as A oneshot. The road to hell via good intentions seems to apply to digital and human souls, It would be great to get more of an insight into skynet's mental state as events spiral beyond her predicted outcomes, Would she continue or change goals? With timetravel there could be multi Skynet's with conflicting agendas.

Loved it. Beautiful AND horrifying. Extra horror: if Xander ever found out just who he was helping, &/or if the Connors and Co. found his name as a person pf interest in the creation of the Skynet they know and loathe, and came after him.
