Nice story. I like the way Dawn manages (sort of) to provide a different spin on things that are supernatural so that she can work with a group of highly intelligent people who don't know about it and aren't likely to believe in demons that demand babies for tribute in exchange for helping humans become giant snake demons themselves. And it was a nice touch at the end, having Xander come for the last baby--I imagine this won't be the only Potential that they'll need to rescue and provide for.
I also liked the way you worked in references to other shows/movies/books, including NCIS, Crocodile Dundee, and Lois McMaster Bujold. (I hope Dawn will buy her own copy of the new Miles Vorkosigan novel, Cryoburn, instead of filching Andrew's.)

I loved the story. I don't review everyday, but that doesn't stop me from rabidly waiting for the next part. I love both shows and I love when writers allow Dawn to grow up from the whiny teenager she was in the really rough times she faced. Heck name one teen that isn't whiny and I'll start looking for their meds. Thank you again for the wonderful story.
