Review of chapter "This Skin That I Live In" from (Current Donor)Sulien
Review:
Pretty sure I read this on your journal and left feedback there, but I'm leaving it again here after rereading. I love the idea of Lindsey and Eliot being two aspects of one person, split by a Ferula Gemina Rod and that they both grew their conscience back as their soul recovered from the process to become two wholes instead of two halves. I also like the way you have Lorne tell Lindsey something similar to what Uriel told Harry about the nature of souls in the short story "The Warrior" and at the end of "Small Favor"; the concept suits the Joss 'verse as well.

As always, thank you for sharing! May the spring of your muse never run dry!

I really enjoyed this. Do you have any plans for a sequel? I think it would be a blast to see two such different men in the same place, especially if Lindsay met Elliot's team.

Interesting way for Eliot and Lindsey to come into existance.

This really makes sense of both Lindsey's and Elliot's growing consciences at certain points in their careers. Plus, wonderful tie-in with that 5th-season BtVS episode.

Loved this bit especially: "Most people actually lose and gain small portions of their souls every day. They exchange energies every time they touch, wounding or healing each other with every cruel word and every shared laugh..."

Glad you enjoyed it. =) I wanted to come up with a cross-method I hadn't seen used for these shows before, and it made more sense the more I wrote it.

I can't claim credit for that bit about the souls, though; I picked up the concept from the Dresden Files series, actually, though I don't remember which book Harry mentions it in.
