Well Buffy isn't any ordinary Slayer she always did the opposite. One in the world became two then became so many. Two vampires as lovers. turning enemy's to allies, not killing every demon she saw, dying two or three times, becoming immortal etc.
So there is no happy ending for heroes knowing Buffy she changed so many things so why not this. She always was different. I really hope you'll update this story because I really love it.
And just like the story before very well written.

I love this story so far! Please update soon? I really hope Buffy and Legolas will have their 'Happily Ever After', they deserve it, but I'm sure you'll let them suffer for a while... Cally

I REALLY hope that she and Legolas get to Valinor okay! I'm so worried you're going to make this a tragedy :(

A tragedy? Me?? ... Okay, so my past track record hasn't been so hot on that account, but I SWEAR that this story was meant to be lighter than my past adventures. I just happened to have started the story at an unavoidably dark period in the lives of our favorite characters. :)
Well first of all thanks for the update, and congratulations on the imminant arrival of your little one. :)
As for the reveiw Arwen just breaks my heart, elves are just completly at a loss about mortal death aren't they? It's just such an alien concept for them, still maybe Arwen's conversation with Buffy will give her some clarity and some peace of mind.*crosses fingers*
Buffy seems to be trying to deal with her own fears and questions about her mortality, although seeing as this is the beginning of the story and I read Equinoxium I can't help but feel she might of jinxed herself at the end there.lol
I know it could be a while between updates now, but I'll still be here waiting patiently.

Thank you for both the review and the congrats! :) And while these chapters have been dark, I, too, was hoping that at least in this AU verse, perhaps Arwen will find some of the comfort she so obviously lacked in canon at the end of her days. I'm hoping that at the least, Buffy could have given her that.
Simple so far, but should be interesting to see how things go from here, and the idea of Buffy's Slayer powers granting her a longer life does make sense.

So Buffy's traveling with Arwen on her last journey, I have a feeling that Arwen's going to give one last piece of wisdom to Buffy that will be relevant later on. This is going to be sad, everytime I read Aragorn & Arwen's story in the annals it always chokes me up at the end.
Thanks for the speedy update, it's great stuff. :)

I hate that Tolkien couldn't give them a very happily ever after. Everyone deserves one in the end - despite Buffy's own misgivings in this story. And thank you for the review - I love to hear your thoughtful ruminations!
I very much enjoyed the first three chapters, they seemed to connect real well with earlier story. Also, character here seem to have more depth than before... not that they did not have depth before, but the way years weighted on them and how they dealt(or did not deal) with passing time was really amazingly written. And the moment of Aragorn's passing, Arwen's grief and despair... I did shed a tear for her... as somehow, I felt I could connect the feeling she might have had... as if your own soul would suddenly be torn out.

Thank you so much for this review! To hear that you may have felt even a fraction of Arwen's pain in the moment of Aragorn's passing must mean that I did something right. Thank you for that - it means the world to me. :)

I haven't read your first story but just read chapter 1 and had to comment that it was beautifully written. I'll have to find time to go back and read the first story!

Thank you so much for trying out this sequel without first wading through the prequel. Unfortunately so much of this story is built upon the last that you might find yourself quite lost without it. Either way - thank you for the review. I'm glad that you enjoyed that first chapter!
