Shooting the messenger bearing bad news is an age-old custom. Hicks let off Xander pretty easy over Ripley, anyway, considering what the New Council member had to tell this Marine's beloved. No matter how gently it's put, learning you lost everyone and then committed suicide in a pool of molten metal to take with you an implanted Alien isn't something to be happy about, right?

Neat little story, but Hicks was way out of line. He's pissed at Xander for warning him about his and Ripley's upcoming deaths - after already healing him (and probably saving one of his eyes)? Xander had already warned them that watching A3 was going to be tough, but that they needed to see it. And then his response is...shoot the messenger? Talk about ingratitude of the highest order. This is not a man who deserves any further warnings about anything, ever again.

FUCK!!! I never thought anyone could write a good Xander/Alien crossover but you did and it's GREAT! Are you going to continue with the 'Xander travel to other realities' universe or is this just one fic?
