I like it! Nothing like a former all powerful overlord to install the right type of blood lust in the students. Either that or scare them so hard they never look at a dojo again :)
Comments from author:
I think that Illyria could, perhaps, instill a sense of calm in her teaching. Largely because she's rather non-expressive; students may be as, "Sensei is so at peace and so badass. Might they be connected?"
But, likely not.
Thank you for the read and the review!

was faily good. I enjoyed the similarities from the one with Teal'c, but it did end up feeling sightly to similar.
Comments from author:
Brick joke is the point, though! It's a take on the similarities in the stoicism of the characters. However, I value your critique as valid in relation to rehashing. Which, frankly, I may tend to do often.
Thank you for the read and the review!

The Tallahassee joke is great. If you ever get the chance, I'd love to see Richie introduce Teal'c and Illyria and be like, "Soooo, both of you are from Tallahassee and you're both weird, strong and frighteningly skilled. What do they feed you people in Tallahassee, anyway?"
Anyway, very funny. I also liked the list of jobs Illyria couldn't get. Good work.

You are giving me plot bunnies. How evil is that? More evil than a demon god king, that's how evil.
I may just need to write them in a competitive situation. Maybe once DeSalvo's goes international, they'll vie for executive position for the States or some such...
Thank you for taking the time to read and review! I'm ecstatic you liked it.
(I swear, I've replied to this review three times. The dangers of a browser time out, eh?)

Cute and entertaining. Nice throw in with Stargate at the end.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Pst. The Stargate toss-in at the end is a reference to another story in this series, Applicant #16, DeSalvo's of Colorado Springs, wherein Richie interviews Teal'c. You might enjoy it if you like Illyria's little foray into the job market, and Stargate: SG-1.
Either way, I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for taking the time to review!

Hooray! Very enjoyable and plausible characterizations. Your view of Illyria is freaking hilarious, even better than T's interview.
Comments from author:
Thank you! I just think Illyria would be so annoyed with our pesky human world and the workings there-of, since her power diminish-ment in 'Time Bomb' and the probable annihilation of the rest of the A Team in 'NFA'. Poor little ancient god king demon.

Very amusing. An impossible situation of course, Illyria would hardly stoop to working a job, but funny.
Comments from author:
Poor thing is of diminished power and the probable only survivor of W&H's attack. I think it's possible. Unlikely, yes, but possible. My personal belief is that it's roadtripping the 'verse with telepathic teleportation. But then, how would Richie Ryan fit into the story? :)
Thank you for reviewing, and I'm happy to amuse you a bit.
