Yeah, I can tell that the Council still screws up so many times, it isn't funny. What I want to know is why, with all his Ki ability, Ranma doesn't just blast them away, or at least make them scared. And he has the Umi and Yama-Sen-Ken, as that's before the time that Nodoka finds out about the Curse, and Ranma's pulled, just before she does find out, which means that Ranma has a lot of killing techniques, and has modified techniques to be non-lethal. Hell, he's got a Danger Sense, so bullets could likely trigger the DS, easily.
Also, Quentin Travers is an Ass, heavy on the capital A there. Ranma usually punches someone for being asses.
That alone kinda irks me, though I still laugh at the Council screwing up more than their fair share of things.
And that last thing, how is says that Ranma isn't a Slayer, does that mean that the ritual, like all things magical around Ranma, screwed up?
Anyway, hope you continue the story, FemXanderForever (Seth O. Blade)

I want the cleanup crew to suffer the wrath of Ryouga!
It's just a simple thing, some nitwit talking about killing the accursed in his hearing....
Well written, but you did leave out the screw-up count.

Interesting stuff though I always felt Gile's reasoning was a bit flawed. If a slayer can't stand up to modern arms and the threat of assination always hangs over their head how would a normal human fair? Why doesn't anyone threaten the council in such ways? They just play at being soldier and have more skeletons in their closets than most countries, simply put if anyone stood up to them they would fold like a pack of cards. You can't even play the 'slayer card' given they provide next to no useful support as a whole and the Slayer would be almost as well off on their own as with training. Buffy is perhaps the bst slayer in the series and she had minimal training while Kendra the 'council raised' pawn got her but kicked so easily in what a year or less of fighting?
You also have to wonder if the council hadn't found a way to tailor the slayer dreams so they can't warn them of human threats as big as the council, the ritual thing they do on their 18th birthday etc. Frankly given it's been going on for centuries every new slayer should wake up with what killed some of the previous ones and teach them to be distrustful of the watchers. The fact none of them seem to catch on seems to point towards a bad dirrection.
Still I never bought the 'all powerful' council angle and they only have any control over Buffy and such in canon because the good guys are all soft hearted fools when it comes to human evil. I always got the impression Buffy would sleep with Hitler and try to reform him, just because he was human and thus not killable.

Definitely a good read, and it's funny, because I could see it actually happening. I was wondering, though, with exposure to American society, and his/her mother, wouldn't Ranma be a little more ... desensitised to sexuality and feminism?
Update soon, FemXanderForever

This is another review by me.
As the Nerima Wrecking Crew is now hellbound to find and wreak havoc on Nodoka and her buddies.. Kasumi has managed passive-aggressive retribution once again.
She never acts against others--she lets them all hang themselves once they cross the line.
