Here's a random thought- since this is a multi-verse deal, is it possible that chibi-Spike got sent to a Xander in a different universe? That would explain why nobody told him Spike was back; in that universe, he wasn't. I can't imagine any reasons they wouldn't tell him otherwise that don't involve character-bashing.

When this all comes out, I wonder what the rest of Xan's "family" and the Wizarding World is going to think of all this. I hope that Sev REALLY gave thought to this. With him signing on as parent to Spike and making himself virtually mated/partnered/married to Xan, he can't really be considered fray adjacent to the demonic war zone the Scoobies inhabit and you know what the guys' lives are like. Also, would this show up in some form of documentation in the British magical Ministry and Gringotts?

Review:
I like ur story very much - it's different.
Chibi-Spike is too cute to believe it. I'm very interested how Xan will react to him. Especially as he doesn't seem to know that Spike is still undead. (i foresee a hissyfit)
The mysterious injured wizard...hm since I'm a Severus-Fan I hope it's him.

I hope there will be an update soon *offers cookies*

I guess this comment has some language mistakes since I'm German. That's also the reason I have to say one tiny little thing to the translation: For someone like me it sounds a bit strange cause German sentence structure is different. I would recommend the following: "Menschliche Leiche aktivieren!" (Activate human corpse) We Germans love our imperative and exclamation marks. ;)

Review:
I always knew that Andrew was an idiot. And this story proves it!

I've read a lot of stories where the Buffy characters are "chibi-fied", but I've never seen one where Spike is reduced in age.

Him still being a vampire is of course, part of the fun.

Chibi-Spike is just so adorable, from the way you describe him. Of course, he still has a foul mouth, a foul temper to go with it, and is in dire need of a good parent.

Hence Xander.

I can't wait to read more of this story.

Review of chapter "In Which a Dead City Comes to Life..." from kayron
Review:
From what I can make out the title of this story is something along the lines of...the history of the little...something. I usually don't pay much attention to the titles of stories, but this was diffferent, so I was curious. I was surprised at the direction of the story. I was expecting that XANDER would be the one made kid-sized. Spike was a surprise! Will Xander know that this is Spike miniaturized? Or, since this is Dawn's wish, will Xander actually end up as Spike's dad? The story has it that Xander found and helped a wand waiving wizard, and now that wizard lives with him. Neville Longbottom is the only wizard I know of in the HP verse that is into herbology. So the wizard might be him. Maybe Neville came to the African continent looking for some rare plant? Or, maybe the wizard is Bill Weasley? He worked for Gringotts, and was stationed in Egypt for a long time.
Comments from author:
The literal translation of the story title is "A story about a little boy". I just liked the french way of saying it and used it to liven things up on the title front. I didn't want to accidentally repeat another story title that might possibly exist on this site or any other site. On the pairing front, I'll give you a hint - Don't limit yourself to the belief that Herbologists are the only ones knowledgeable with the plant growing process, think about the ones that use plants too. (I think I just gave that one away, LOL) Thank you for your review and I'm glad that you're enjoying this.

Review:
I'm loving this so far. Just one little quibble. You wrote:

"It had been re-opened back in the earlier part of the nineteenth. "

I think you mean the early part of the 1900's as the nineteenth century would've been the 1800's.
Comments from author:
That is correct. I did mean the early part of the eighteen hundreds, but now that I think about it, it should be the late part of the nineteenth century. I will correct this once the story is completed. Thank you for your review and construction comment on this matter.
