Keep going this a great story, thanks for all the hard work so far.

Believe it or not it's actually getting harder to work on now we're getting near the end. I've had the last chapters planed out for a hell of a long time and it's agonising to try and get the story were we are to where I want it to go AND satisfy everyone.
I'm going to have to bring in the Zords soon, and really I can't figure out how to do them justice.

Well, they managed to take out the castles with a mixture of c-4, magic, and the Power Blaster. But, A'Zores isn't done yet. The Rangers may have to do something they swore that they would never do: KILL! That may be the only way to take this creep down once and for all.

It's the original Rangers that won't kill. This gang, sadly, know that somethings have to be done. Especially when dealing with demons. That's why Buffy finished of Kendra so brutally. She knew it had to end quickly and that was the best way she saw. Unfortunately there is a slight problem with that...

So THAT is how they plan to take out all the people on earth! Use that crystal to suck the life out of everyone, and when its full, blow it up and the Earth with it! I just hope that the Rangers can hit it from above with the Power Blaster. And I can see that Faith is making a good second in command to Dawn. She listens, offers suggestions when she feels that she needs to, and keeps quiet other wise. Now, time to make Kendra pay, and hopefully, Xander will make it out in one piece!

A'Zores may be smart, but, I think he is starting to loose it at times. And Dawn, remember this: In war, there are losses that can't be helped. You may want to avoid losses, but sometimes they cannot be helped. Now, lets take down this Pirate ship, and see about make A'Zores a mud puddle!

This battle is going to be down to the wire. There are a lot of forces coming to bear, both for the light and the darkness. Lets just hope that the PTB don't throw a monkey wrench into this. And lets also hope that the POWER is enough to keep the Rangers safe and sound. This is one battle that means more than the usual Apocalypse in Sunnydale on a Tuesday night. They fail this time, its the end of the Earth in this dimension and who knows how many others!

Great new chapter. I was just thinking, I don't remember the original power rangers being this good. Then again, they were aiming it at kids so they kinda made it a lot less serious. I think they tried to imitate it with samurai, and failed horribly. I couldn't get past episode 1 because 1.) bulk and screech or whatever their names are were annoying as hell. 2.) The fact they had to do elaborate katas or something in order to do /anything/. I don't know if it gets any better later on, but seriously. Also, from what I saw, the zords were super cheap. Heck, the whole thing seemed uber-cheap.

I've tried to watch Samurai myself, emphasis on tried. The problem is Power Rangers actually developed as the years went on. Seasons like In Space, SPD and RPM weren't just aimed as kids, there were some very adult plot threads woven into them. As the fans grew older the show got more complex and rose to the challenge. Samurai feels, to me at least, like a step backwards. Bulk and Skull's nephew are just comic relief, without any of the depth Bulk and Skull had by the end of In Space. All the development we had for about 17 years has been reset. Almost undoing what ended up as one of my favourite seasons, RPM.
In fact watching RPM helped inspire me to go back over Power Rangers, well that and the frankly awesome History of Power Rangers (I can't promote this enough:- http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/linkara/hopr )

My attempt in this story is not only to crossover the characters, but also some of the themes. This means some ideas from Buffy, such as evil not always being obvious and redemption have crept in at the corners. Now that we're approaching the end I feel I need to at least touch on some of those ideas, at least in retrospect.

I wanted to have this story finished by this time (end of the year) but life got in the way. So I'll see you next year with the last three chapters and the epilogue in January... Happy new year!

Well, it looks like its time to start making some calls, because this IS the final battle! If Dawn, SGC, and Zedd can't stop this attack, then you may as well put your head between your legs and kiss this world goodbye! I just hope that they CAN stop this mess!

As pointed out Zedd won't fight. He sees fighting as a step towards his former, evil, self. However his observations are still valid and he has the collected Mystical knowledge from most of the universe. The SGC are FINALLY going to get to hold their own and prove that they are worthwhile allies.

That doesn't mean the good guys are going too win and there are still a few surprises left before the end, at long last, comes

NOW is the time to bring in a major tech toy such as this! *Hits the call for the Dragonzord* If they are going to take A'zores out, the only way to do it is with a mixture of the tech of the ship and the Ultrazord. BRING ON THE FINAL BATTLE!
