I mean this fic is amazing but your Xander in this chapter is almost exactly what I imaged in my challenge and if anyone ever responds to "Challenge 5456: YAHF Captian Xander Harkness (CXH)" there is no way that their Xander will be able to compare to yours. *Pouts* I'll just have to content myself with reading your fic and thoughly enjoying it.

A change of tone with the last few chapters, but seeing as we still don't see much of Devon in Fanfic I think that you managed to capture a possible personality that fits the story quite well...

I loved the story, but it seems to end too abruptly. I thought Devon was just going to be Xander's 'test' date, then all of a sudden it seems like it's a permanent pairing?

Oh well, I would have like to see a little more of Xander exploring this new side of him, and how the girls - especially Cordy - react to each new possible pairing. I would have also liked to see how the new people meld into the group and how having more trained people affected the graduation battle.

Harmony was starting to develop some surprising depth and skills; does she take a page from Cordy's book and start dating/take on reinventing Jonathan? Did Xander sleep with Faith in this? Does his new interests in boys allow her to give him the benefit of the doubt when he tries to help her back down from the edge?

I'm so happy you enjoyed the story! I ended it where I felt it should be ended, and I did so in a way that leaves it open for a sequel, if I ever get around to writing one. I never stated in the text that Devon was to be a test date for Xander, only a first date. That it went well was a happy coincidence. It's not a permanent pairing; it's a new pairing which closes the story.

The questions you asked (and what good ones they are!) are those that would be answered in the sequel. Which I actually *do* hope to write someday! :D

When I originally wrote this, I hadn't planned on a sequel, but I must confess that I am now interested in writing one. I'm not sure that I will, as I'm not really in the fandom anymore, but we'll see.

I know I've read other Xander/Devon stories, but I can't remember where. I think they were at Live Journal. I usually just Google-Fu obscure pairings and use quotation marks. I'm pretty sure EntreNous at LJ wrote one. Hope this helps! :)

I really enjoyed this story! I hope you continue it. I felt kinda bad for Larry and Percy. I liked how you brought in Harmony and Jonathan and gave them personalities and everything! All in all a very enjoyable read.

I may indeed continue this story in a sequel of some sort. I'm secretly a Xander/Percy fanboy and have written other stories with that pairing, so it would be interesting to revisit them in this 'verse. :)

Wow, as much as it will suck for Queen C and Cordelia I really hope Devon does stick it out. If he does everything as he thinks he will he'll be more awesome with Xan than Anyanka was. *huggles the boys and Cordy* tough times ahead, but I can see them working beautifully!

Also, it wouldn't boggle the mind completely to have a true threesome, a triad relationship, Devon is open, loves Xan, Likes Cordy, Cordy doesn't actively loathe without *paying attention* to people (IE finds some worth in them) and Xan-pet? Xander is just plain big of heart, he loves deeply and eternally. ;)

Still, I felt it best to explore her reluctance in this, because she was just far too accepting of Xander liking boys. She's happy for him of course, but she is jealous, and a little sad. It does make you wonder how she would have felt had he dated someone other than Devon though, doesn't it. ;)

As for Xander/Cordy/Devon, all I can say is YES, PLEASE!

*stares and shakes head* Oh damn, excluding the first chapter I definitely loved the whole story. But there has got to be more to it than just leaving it off there....please....
