I am disappointed this one is over but it ended just in time. Faith and Zivas history is a tad convenient but leaves it open for the spin off. I loved the Dawn 'centric eccentricity. Her blithe juggernaut communication style is fun to read and she needs to get out and play!
Excellent reading recommendations -- and I'd never thought of Ziva as a Bothari (though her father DID seem to have screwed her up almost as bad as Bothari's mother had messed him up as a child, she's not quite that profoundly damaged), but I can kind of see Gibbs as her Cordelia in the sense of providing a trusted someone who can tell her when it's okay and right to let the violence loose, when she can't make sense of it for herself temporarily.

I am so glad you decided not to make Ziva a slayer. It's great to see the recognition that strong, kick-ass women still exist without supernatural powers. Awesome.
