Yeah, I gotta agree with the reviews that say not taking out Luthor for the reasons you give sounds silly. It's not like a smart and capable leader would not start changing his plans anyway as you counter them. It really just comes down to is he an asset to the other side or not? If he is, remove him. If Bane or the Joker were so capable then they would still be capable of making changes to plans and influencing Luthor. If they are not and Luthor is the smartest and most capable then he is clearly a dangerous enemy and logic would clearly dictate taking him out over some obviously temporary advantage of knowing his current plans.
You're falling into the cliche' trap of 'don't take out the leader because it might change things'.
Of course it will change things. That's the whole point.
You cut off the head of the snake; Lex.
AND you take out Nyssa, Bane, and Joker, ESPECIALLY when you know they'll cause even more problems. You don't leave them around to regroup their apparatus.
If there are multiple snakes you take them all out at the same time.

They KNOW Bane, the Joker, and many others are cold blooded, rabid killers - why in the HELL don't they put them down for good? And none of the 'We'd be no better than them' B.S., please; they'd be killing them to SAVE lives - and yes, I include Lex in the 'Better Dead' listings...
Comments from author:
They are taking a more hard view point in this story than just turning them over to the cops like normal, I am sure you noted that however the only time they will kill is if there is no other option. Remember they are not only the protectors of the people but also symbols of hope(razial)

I stopped watching the show regularly when they started the stones plot. I was able to follow much of this from episodes that I had watched and glad that you were able to recap 4 years of frustrating plot that I would not have cared for so much. Looking forward to seeing where you take this.

OK Hoping that you get a new chapter in soon. Haven't been able to review or even see most stories as I lost my info. Love that he is getting the group together now instead of later! Also glad to see that he is going for Ra's help early too. MORE PLEASE!

This story is fantastic! A timetravel!Smallville is a fanatastic idea, one that I haven't seen before. You sent him back to a good spot, other then all the way back to the begining. Keep up the fantastic work!

If this had started earlier in the series I'd be a bit angry at you for condemning Lex to being unable to change at all.
However, this starts after Lex has already started to go down that path, so while it bugs me a bit that they're unable to see that he wasn't always such a bad guy (such as in the beginning seasons of the show, when he was really just a extremely curious person with an Evil Father), I can continue reading and enjoying this.
