Ah, so it's likely Andrew's doing this! Makes sense. He may have been a fool but he was also damned seriously smart. Give him time to learn and grow Andrew could be very deadly, and it's the smart ones, not the strong ones, that are truly deadly!
Problem is, Willow's just as smart and proven twice as deadly: Smart as well as powerful. And Buffy and Faith are often underestimated but have proven cunning as rabid foxes. Xander is plain stubborn as all get out while Dawn is a true cypher: obviously a genius (when applied) as well as a sponge for anything that gets her attention (trust me, you don't learn to fight as well as she did in Sn7 by "watching"...scary!).
Andrew right now is inside and not seen as the threat, but he'll overreach sooner or later (why things should never get personal) and he'll get nailed to the wall. But only after alt of damage.

Interesting story.
The basic idea of the story seems to be God cursing the Scoobies for disrupting the balance... but I have not seen anything in any monotheistic religion that suggest god advocated any kind of balance with or tolerance towards evil. While I'm not religious and therefore don't mind inaccuracies much, perverting religion to that degree is definitely a turnoff for me.

The Shadowrun crossover would be interesting, but you ignore it too much to have any relevance beyond a few terms. Adding Highlander and Stargate just twists it further from the setting I expected.
Highlander at least fits somewhat into the setting, but Stargate? Where no world had any magic or demonic activity, but Earth always had? That's a hard sell.

I'll give you credit for trying to use Shadowrun though. It's not a crossover I see often.

Hope ya get back to this little story one day. Damnit, I wanna know what's behind all this. I figure it's more than a typical corporate resource grab but ya never know (that'd actually throw me as it's so cliche' you'd expect anything else!) and I'm a hangin'.

I have some good news for you then...the next chapter to this fic is written and is off to my beta, but I think I'll post it unbetaed sometime in the next week and then replace it later on.

This is getting good, I get the feeling Xander is either an immortal although as he is an elf I find that hard to fathom but still a valid point or Amanda missed the heart, I hope to find out which soon, I love the byplay between harry and jack just like I remember from cannon. The alternate world as well is really cool, the fact they shut down the stargate here is interesting but I take it a g'ould invasion was not coming down their throats like in actual cannon at the time. anyway keep it up (razial)

I bet Jack was not happy to see Harry again :( But at least they got some good info from him. I hope they can use it in time to save Faith. Is Buffy still around somewhere? Still a lot of room for more explanations in future chapters!

A interesting start and it has merit, let's see who the story develops.

You may want to explain the terms from Shadowrun when you use them in the story (e.g. Matrix, ICE, Decker, etc).
Maybe by using flashbacks to bind in the explanation into the story or a glossary at the end.
No everyone that reads the story will have played the game.

more is planned don't fear, I just can't promise when. I have two open chapters with my beta on 2 of my other stories and a 3rd started. After that I try to do something for this one just for you. I'm just kinda slow at writing so it will take a bit.

Hmm, never noticed this one before, very nice story so far with an interesting premise.

I'm out of the loop with regards to Shadowrun, but I liked the way this story started. Please continue, I like well written and unusual stories.
