Calling Dr Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard! Calling Dr Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard! Woo woo woo woo! For duty and Humanity!

Icky Twerp hosted Slam Bang Theater, which played several episodes every day before school.

Gosh I love this story.

The old batman did kill some enemy's in the first comics and I think in the first movie. He didn't liked it but he did. The not killing part came later can't tell when but I never understood it. Very dangerous criminals get away because of it. Buffy did kill some knights, in the series. She probably pushed it back because she didn't want to know it. But this Buffy didn't. I don't count hyena possessed Xander because that was a accident.

I don't agree with Batman and Gordon that when she kills she crosses a line. Sometimes it's them, her or a innocent. She would choose the criminal. She wouldn't like it and feeling guilty about it but she would do it. I also think she would do everything possible to avoid it.
I think that Batman and Gordon needs to see the grey instead of thinking black and white. Sometimes you have no choice. I also don't think when she kills once she would do it easier the second time. Nope not Buffy.

Great story can't wait for the next update. I like how Jenny and Buffy get along . In the beginning I hated how Jenny used to much magic to accomplished things but I like the way it is now. Buffy is better over here then in Sunnydale.

the no killing thing in Batman is just as moronic as the no killing humans thing in BTVS. So you let them go and they hurt other innocents. Really moral, right?

Its like that garbage that is quoted all the time by idiots

"Better a thousand guilty go free rather than one innocent not"

which ignores the future victims of that thousand guilty. Total complete garbage and frankly I hope that anyone that spouts it gets mugged by someone that got off on a technicality by some sleazy lawyer.

Review of chapter "Lawyers II" from djhardim
The business about Batman not killing came up in the direct to video, "Batman:Under the Red Hood".

'..Red Hood takes the Joker to an abandoned apartment and savagely beats him with a crowbar the same way he was beaten five years' ago. He then meets Batman in Crime Alley, where they first met, and they get into a fight that culminates with Jason holding Batman at gunpoint and demanding to know why he has not killed the Joker. Batman says that although he has thought every day about killing the Joker, he cannot bring himself to do it — he knows if he starts killing, he will never stop. ..'

Then he has less control than he appears. Most soldiers and police officers can kill and not keep on killing. Therefore if he is that much of a danger, he should go live on a deserted island and not face temptation every day like he is. Of course this is the writers who have him in that mindset because of the dark nature he has been given in recent years. I never got that from the comics of the 50's, 60's, & 70's.

I hadn't really been considering the names closely. But I guess Christine finally did marry Harry, eh?

Good story - kind of complicated, but I'm following it pretty well.

Good guess.

Glad you like it.

By the time I've gotten to the reviewing, I've forgotten about our friends you mention. Like good Chuck at the end there. His name would happen to be Charles Edmond Cheas, by any chance? Waiting for more.

Comments from author:
It is a distinct possibility.

Well, Howard, Fine, and Howard are stooges.
Comments from author:
True, but that was more of a hit to the head than some of my more subtle namings like I did back in Chapter 19.

You know, there just seems to be something about Flatman and Ribbon just just aches for people to make fun of him in these stories.

Review of chapter "Conversations" from DieselDriver
"Gotham doesn’t need to revert to Old West justice."

Most of "Old West Justice" is a fabrication of the Hollywood movie makers. 99% at least. Nobody did those stupid stand in the streets and wait for the other guy to draw for instance. Most of that sort had what happened to "Bad Bob" in "Judge Roy Bean" happen to them. Or like happened to the baddie in "Liberty Valence" with John Wayne shooting the bad guy with a rifle while an idiot played by Jimmy Stewart was unwitting bait in the street. None of the robbers were otherwise sweet guys with girlfriends who were just misunderstood. They were unsavory bastards and got what was coming to them like in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". A lot more of them were cornered and shot down like that than Hollywood would have you think.

Review of chapter "Murphy's Visit" from DieselDriver
I never did understand the Batbrain's penchant for leaving rabid criminals alive so they could repeat their crimes. Killing them during the commission of such crimes is defending others and should be celebrated not denigrated.

Thanks for continuing the story. So many great stories fall by the wayside. I was getting worried that this would be one of them. Keep up the great story.
