I've read the E. E. Knight series and enjoyed it, but I admit I was thinking it was John Ringo's Ghost, Mike Harmon, aka Mike Jenkins, aka The Kildar, when I opened this page up.

Well this is defintely a first, although I suppose that the Vampire Earth books aren't all that crossover compatible. Definitly not super Xander, he may have got a boost with regards to physical abilities and a fair bit of useful knowledge shoved into his head but David was still human, with the flaws that go with it.
I have read three books in this series, I think there are four out there. My favorite is Way of the Cat. I hope you continue as I've liked the bit you posted here. Xander as both Cat and Wolf is definitely interesting, but fitting. After all hyena is classified as closer to dog than wolf but with definite cat-like behaviors. Cheers

I love extra abilities from Halloween stories, so I'd enjoy seeing this continued. I have to pose the question of how this wouldn't be a super Xander story? He wouldn't be Joe average normal human anymore. He would have enhanced abilities. Those mentioned already are speed, agility, and enhanced senses. I have never heard of the Ghost character before. I don't know if there would be any more abilities coming. But, even if he isn't shooting death rays out of his eyes or something what he can do so far is pretty good, and would be considered super, because typical human Xan didn't have these abilities.

Super Xander stories tend to be stories where Xander is so powerful that he doesn't need the gang to carry on fighting. Ghost is a scout/spy, (at this point in the books) therefore will match Buffy in some things and not in others. He will stay in the group, and will not get any more abilities. Very well done. I haven't seen many (I mean any) crosses with these books. Love the books. and Val in Sunnydale. with his determination to see things to the end. God I almost pity the bad guys.

Good start. It is interesting that Xander has the reflexes but not strength. As you say this should help you stay away from Super!Xander Hopefully a complementry skillset for Buffy's Slayer powers.
