Review of chapter "Coffee, Croissants, and Cheekbones" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
Can't believe I missed this. Then again, when you posted this, we weren't watching Bones at the time. We just recently started Season 3. I already knew that A/J were eventually getting married, so no spoilers for me.

When I read about the swords I thought for sure there would be some Immortal angle, like Jack was one, or something.

'Course that would totally change how that one episode of Bones would have gone with them being buried alive in that car...

Good eye, that Angela. A lovely story. Thank you.
Comments from author:
Given the initial setup of The Return I think Angela is the most likely person to spot her. One of the problems I'm having with any story in which she meets the NCIS or Bones team as Linda is that there are too many trained observers in those teams, and they got to know her too well - that's why I haven't done anything with the McGee / Linda ship I was hinting at in the epilogue to The Return, though there are probably ways around it.

Very cool, surprised I missed it when it was first posted. One great thing about nomination rounds is that they leave you combing through your favorite authors' stories :D

Please do comb to your heart's content - I don't have many eligible Buffy crossovers this time, but there are a few and several non-Buffyverse stories. I may do more with the world I described in The Return - I've been working on something this evening, but it'll probably be a while before I have anything to post.

Review:
What fun! I can SO see Jack and Angela 'happening' to rent Duncan's barge for their honeymoon, and Angela recognizing those cheekbones, no matter how different the rest of Kara's appearance might be.
Comments from author:
There was some discussion on the Lois and Clark boards about how likely it was that Clark could go unrecognised, which made me wonder who would be able to do spot them regardless of costumes etc. This was the result, glad you enjoyed it.

I so love to read one of your gems of a story. The way you mix different shows, books, games, etc. together is just masterful. Not to mention your characterizations are always spot on. Thanks for another small classic.
Comments from author:
Thanks for such a lovely review - you wouldn't believe how many times I tried writing something like this before I was happy with it.
