The plot thickens (again)! next step is to check up on the immortals which have supposedly died I guess. Whatever has happened to them will be more complicated than I can imagine, to judge by the story so far. Keep up the good work!

yes, that scene had to be written, for where the story's going, but I didn't want the story going too dark, plus not that good at writing gory torture scenes unless I've kept my muse up all night with a Resident Evil marathon.

So someone is building up a list of immortals, but not killing them? I wonder why? It sounds like someone with experience at telling when someone is lying though -since they start by asking lots of irrelevent questions. This casts suspicion over members of the Lightman group, Oh no!

no, not exactly...the torture done the way I describe it is actually a way of getting the victim to give you exactly what you need to know- just not right away because otherwise they get suspicious...that, and the guy doing the torture just purely enjoys torturing people and is glad for the opportunity to hone his art

So it might be an immortal hunting Watchers rather than a Watcher hunting Immortals? If he had been a bit smarter and not cut of their heads it might not have come to the attention of the Immortal community so soon. At least her "man on the inside" Thomas can help with any misdirection needed for the lightman group.
