I don't know why you don't want to make this a 'Willow bashing' story. She seriously needs some at this point. ;-)

Sorry for the reply delay - a family member has been sick (and in the hospital recently) so I've been more then a little distracted.
As for Willow, I didn't/don't want to turn this into a Willow story (of any kind), because at heart this is a Xander story, and I want to keep the focus on him as much as possible.

*grins* I am working on more, but this time around I've got all kinds of scene's and stuff written, but it's not always in order, so even before I start editing I have to make sure I get all the stuff necessary into the actual chapter. But hopefully soon.

Giles was right about Willow. She is an arrogant little fool. The only reason she won't check where Buffy is is that she doesn't want to admit that she could be wrong about where Buffy is.
Friendship wise, Willow is a write off. She's burned her bridges.
Edit: Given the nature of the spell Willow uses and your own comments, I have a feeling we know who Buffy's tagalong will be. Hopefully they'll remember to dig up her coffin.

I'm glad you get that, I was afraid some might be a little offended about the way I wrote that, but I couldn't get her to try and get Xander back any other way, I did try, that was one of the hardest bits I've wrote so far. But at this point in her development I just couldn't see Willow being nicer about getting Xander back to Sunnydale to do what she wanted, which is bringing Buffy back.
