Okay I'm whining for more. The humans on the show are idiots in my opinion so I tend to root for the Cylons. Okay teenage girl Cylons. (I'd say something but since 'I'm' the one begging for more....)

I take it Gina is not a Cylon? The story seems like it will be interesting. I want to see where this goes. I do wonder how you'll integrate the Stargate mythos into the story. The thing that concerns me is bringing in Stargate means bringing in the Goa'uld. In time, both the Colonials and the Cylons will have bigger fish to fry.

Why do you think the Cylons want to come home and play nicely with their makers?

For some reason, Lucy and the 'cylons' really rub me wrong.
I'm hoping Helena rips open a can of whoopass on them, because, frankly, I think she's right.
Her 'sister' didn't bother returning to her at any point after it was possible, until her leader wanted to.
The cylons are being arrogant and generally knowitall twats.
I'm guessing that isnt going to happen though, since asgard tech and the general setup leads towards nothing bad happening to the visitors.
Bleh.
Good fic anyway.

Uh, considering violating the Armistice Line allows the Colonials to come pouring over the border and shooting everything in sight and every resulting death (both Cylon and Colonial) would be on her conscience? Why would Lucy have done anything differently?

You just *had* to inflict Annika Hansen on poor Helena *again*, didn't you (yeah, I'm a tad late doing a review of recent chapters, decided to do something while bored out of my mind while burned out from playing WoW) :)? At least you brought her back from "Carry Me Home" limbo to irritate Helena and terrorize the rest of the Pegasus crew, and decided to give her the ATA genetics while you were at it. Oh, and a non-Cylon Gina combined with a non-lunatic Helena, good move, gives me one more reason to like this. Keep it up, Joe :).

I will; this is at the top of my working pile after Blue Belle. And after Mass Effect. My Helena Shepard is level 35 of 60 and climbing.

Very much enjoying this reinterpretation and blending of the BSG mythologies (in fact, I infinitely prefer this to the way the BSG series ended, with Colonial refugees and Cylons supposedly interbreeding with the earliest humans untold thousands of years ago).
Comments from author:
Well, it makes a lot more sense in the SGverse context too, since we had Ancients running around doing all kinds of shit back in the day.

By the Lords of Light, Koblo, Jest and Time! We have one with the genetic markers of the ANCIENTS in them! I think that this is going to shake things up BIG time on both sides!

Finally got through my backlog to this Story. I remember it from SpaceBattles and I'm very happy that you did pick it up again. Bratty Cains Sisters are just too funny.
10 out of 10 for Cliche-breaking fresh Ideas and cracktastic Humor. :)
I'm curious how the things will develop when they reach Caprica.

Is there an SGC in this story-verse? That just hasn't met up with the Asgard yet? And yes, aliens like the Goa'uld will freak them out a lot, the BSG people have never met any aliens, & think the galaxy is mostly empty of life... If Lucy thinks Helena is prejudiced, wait til they get to Caprica. The Cylon War turned the colonials against AIs & high computer tech in a major way (precursor to giving up tech entirely on reaching earth in the miniseries). No holobands, seemingly most high level computers gone etc. The Cylons have a problem--they need to upgrade Colonial tech to make them useful allies, but they can't trust them. The Colonials really hate the Cylons. Any chance Adama's sister is still around as a Cylon?
Comments from author:
The SGC hasn't even managed to dial Abydos yet.
As for Tamara, she never made it into an MCP and a production model Cylon, so whatever's left of her is buried perhaps in an archival hard drive of the New Cap City or something if anything of Greystone Industries still exists.

Annika's like sheppard, all he did was sit, and the damned chair did the same exact thing, lit up like a christmas tree.
very nicely done.
Comments from author:
It had to be either Kendra, Annika, or someone else who we haven't really seen yet. Because if it was Helena, Lucy would have the DNA and would be able to use the Control Chair and similarly if Gina (and Natasi) had it, Lida would be able to access the Chair.

For an update heavy with necessary exposition, it wasn't that bad Joe. You did a nice job with the various characters and even threw in some nice bits of humor. Of course you can rewrite it as much as you like, but to me it seems to have done the job as required. I'm just wondering where the Snakes are or if there are even any Go'uld in your universe.
Comments from author:
Like Zoe said, if the idea of the Lords of Kobol being aliens freaks the Colonials out, the rest of the history lesson is going to make them shit bricks. So yes, there are Goa'uld out there. That's the reason the Asgard have the Cylons courting the Colonials and soon the humans of Earth: to protect them from the Goa'uld because they can't fight openly without inciting an intergalactic war. There's no rule, however, against using the Asgard-upgraded Cylons as intermediaries. Kinda like how they upgraded the SGC's ships.
