A nice pairing to use I think, It'll be interesting how things turn out between Xander and Willow once it's all over.
However, if I were you I'd avoid putting A/N's in the middle of the text. They really break the flow and using them to say things like "I suck at fight scenes" just makes readers expect the worst making any flaws stand out even more.
