Just read through this again and enjoyed it lots.

Would like to see more of it though. That ending was perfect, with the blue sparkles sizzling around Xander's fingers. I can't help but wonder just how much of Ares' essense remained in him. Obviously something, but...is he a demi-god now? A full god? A preist that can call on Ares' powers?

Also...what happens when the real Ares finds out what happened? Is he gonna be interested in Xander as a follower/son type thing or maybe be jealous of this upstart mortal that 'stole' his power?

Could be fun either way.

Actually, I would have enjoyed seeing more too. However, it seemed best to leave it there and let readers imagine the trouble. However, it is not impossible that there could be more later because I keep coming back to the idea of what happens next myself. Glad you enjoyed.
