I'm really enjoying this story so far. And gotta say, I loved that you had one vamp go "I surrender! Gimme a soul please" instead of blanket bad guys. That was a nice twist that many don't go to the effort for. Humanizing the 'side' characters. Good show so far!

For the past two days I have not been able to do anything except read this amazing fic! I have just recently got into Dr. Who and Torchwood and I am so grateful that this was the first fic I read from those fandoms.

First, I love your story a lot!! Best I have read in a long time. Second, was so happy to see you mention Bride and Prejudice. I thought I was one of the few who knew of that movie. I own it and watch it all the time. And it was very fitting. Look forward to finishing reading this story.

Your Fan,
Suza

Review of chapter "Thirty-Eight" from liferscove

I felt compelled to share after I read the authors note.

when you said you had a lot of unfinished stories you had started(yes I know you've posted at least some of them) I was reminded of what was dubbed on live journal as Evil Authors day.

where they take pretty much screen cap their WIP folder and upload the picture as a post and if they are feeling generous some of them posted excerpts of the works in progress.

I wasn't sure if you'd heard about that or not.

Okay, so I have just reread this story in it's entirety. And I love the Lost Files, I demand outtakes on CoE and the new Miracle Day that's coming out soon! I love all of your stories, I've read them all, and most have made me go out and watch the shows that they are about that I never thought I would. Like West Wing. Can we please have more of the GT universe? Please?!

Review of chapter "Forty-Six" from RAINXIA
Review:
oh i loved this chapter and i so do love PJ. i know she is dawns but i cant figure out if she is jack and Ianto's or just jack's. i figured that the J stands for either Jackie, for Jackie Tyler, or Jane, as in sarah jane, or maybe even Jordy but the P has me stumped trying to remember if in both worlds there is anyone called anything that starts with a P.

I can't wait for more, this may be one of the best crosses i have ever read, of Buffy and TW-DW anyway, continue writing. P.S, is there any actresses you base PJ on? or the other characters, like Jordy who we never met in canon, i know i would love to see photos of who the cast is based on.

x.

Review:
"Jack admitted he knew about vampires and that they and other assorted demons avoided Cardiff because of the Rift. He'd known there was a group who dealt with them but he'd always assumed they were part of UNIT."

Makes sense! Jack can't have been around for more than a hundred years and not have notices *something*

Took me a bit, but I finally finished reading this story. And while I wasn't a fan of the threesome element at first, I got past that and started to really enjoy the story. Only a few gripes: the basic grammar errors and the like, but I have to say my biggest gripe is, unless I missed it, you never revealed the traitor in the Council. I hope you saved that for the sequel...

Great story. Hope you follow it up soon.

Awesome I would have read it in one shot but sleep is physically necessary. Really great story tie-ins for the crossovers were very smooth. I really liked the quotes and fan art too.

Review:
Interesting idea, really, made all the more interesting by the fact that it’s based on the should-be-obvious idea that Dawn is immortal because the Key has to be eternal (Even if I personally think that the Key was ‘programmed’ to disperse back into its original state when Dawn died), even if I personally don’t agree with the idea that Jack and Ianto had a relationship of any sort BEFORE the Lisa thing (Of course, that’s probably just me; their relationship never made sense to me in CANON given Ianto’s talk about killing Jack for trying to kill Lisa, so it’s not really anything you’ve done, I assure you).

I still think that Gwen’s reaction and the New Council’s response to it was a bit extreme- she was still new to Torchwood, so a bit of natural scepticism is only to be expected, but banishing her because she wouldn’t listen STRAIGHT AWAY seems a bit harsh-, but the sibling-esque interaction between Dawn and the Doctor was rather interesting, and I DEFINITELY admired the twist regarding Dawn’s ‘true’ parentage, to say nothing of the slight amusement of ‘PJ’s’ presence in the present.

However, in the end, I REALLY wish you’d included more scenes set around Dawn and/or Buffy’s travels with the Doctor; just briefly describing them like you did without actually showing us the steps and effort involved in forming the relationships shown here just seems a bit lazy to me (And sticking in even brief references to “Castle”, “Charmed” and “Bones” just seems relatively pointless; why reference Zack being possessed or bring in Castle and Booth if you’re not going to show the rest of the group’s reactions to those twists?).

In general, the idea was good, but more information is necessary to make it fully effective; as it was, it felt like you skimmed over some details because you just couldn’t be bothered.
