I've been wondering about their daughter for ages...I take it she doesn't know about the SGC.
I loved that all the 'grown-ups' were there; I kinda worked out that it was her graduation day- her team hovering around her and all :-)

I've been wanting to write this (and another future fic, which is currently unwritten) for such a long time. No, she doesn't know about the SGC. I think as far as Willow's concerned that she knows about demons is enough.

The strained mother-daughter relationship reminds me of the Trickster's Choice series (by Tamora Pierce), where Alanna the Lioness is always off a-hero-ing somewhere, and her very different daughter isnt too thrilled about it.
Took me a second read to figure out that this was all about bad graduation memories, and that DJ told their daughter what had happened at Willow's graduation ceremony.
