Review of chapter "Smoothing Things Over" from Harry
Review:
Gibbs, you are about to have your mind blown. And Xander did warn you that its a story that would make you wonder what is going on. At least Abby is only on a part time as needed basis. Being there full time would have killed her emotionally.

Review of chapter "Trading Favors" from Harry
Review:
Jethro, listen to Willow. She can be either your best friend, or your worst enemy. And right now, she is being a friend. Take what she told you for what it is worth.

Review of chapter "Plan Abby" from Harry
Review:
I like the idea of Abby as a as needed consultant. There may be times when she will be needed to help out when a normal tech wouldn't be able to get the job done. Lets just hope that Vance and Gibbs don't throw a monkey wrench into the plans.

Review of chapter "A Pretty Good Day" from Harry
Review:
Xander picked up some good ideas while in interrogation. Him and Abby? Might be good for a date, but I see Abby and Red getting together!

Review of chapter "Smoothing Things Over" from ShyBob
Review:
Thought I reviewed this the first time I read it :( I can totally see CoG turning down Abby for the reasons mentioned. Neat BtVS/NCIS interactions, in part because it wasn't full of over-the-top Willow and Xander antics.

Review of chapter "Smoothing Things Over" from BerserkerNW
Review:
This story is amazing. You really managed to capture the voices of the characters, even a more mature Xander, which is a hard one. I love the job titles. What are Giles, Buffy, Faith, and Andrew's names? Or do they even have them? Anyway, this is great; thanks for sharing!

Pretty good story. FYI CoG in pagan circles is Covenant of the Goddess. http://www.cog.org/

Just info I thought you would find interesting.

Hm. I'll have to see if I can work that in somewhere...

Review of chapter "Smoothing Things Over" from Gideon
Review:
It seems the best of both worlds to let Abby do contract work. I'm sure she would be interested in what they send her.

Review of chapter "Smoothing Things Over" from SlowMercury
Review:
Heh. I really love all the different names that the various positions at COG have, especially HR Despot. I hope to see more of the NCIS crew interacting with COG in the future, if you ever do more. :)

Edit: I also think this is a great blend of humor and tragedy. The Council is coping with style but the things they're coping with are awful, and that really rings true. (Sorry for having to edit--I didn't realize I hadn't mentioned the second thing I loved about this story.)
Comments from author:
Thank you! Quite a few people seem to like the official titles. I think at some point I will have to write the story of how Faith and Andrew, that unlikeliest of teams, ended up with the naming gig. And yes, the Council- or at least, the Scoobies- use humor as a coping mechanism. At some point, you either laugh or cry, and they generally pick laugh if they can manage it...
