Gosh I love this series so much. Your grasp of the characters, of the universe, is so complete and wonderful and everything the show could have, should have, been. The Winchester family dynamics are perfectly suited to your dark, twisty, magical, fucked up, mind, and adding Buffy to the mix is just delicious, blood flavored icing on the cake. Which sounds kind of gross, but whatever, I'm mildly sleep deprived right now. This whole series is fantastic, this particular instance in the series might just be my favorite so far, and I am deeply, deeply in love with your BuffyDeanSam. And Cas, well, my spidey sense is tingling, can't wait to see the hints become full, glorious reality, and how it's all going to play out. You rock my world, and I need to try and pay attention to the calendar this time and get in on your wishlist thing cause just the thought of what you could do with some of my vaguer crossover plot bunnies makes me shiver in delight.

I'm adoring this series, and I'll have a LOT more to say once I finish, probably for each installation, but I just have to say how damn satisfying this chapter was, especially Sam's little rant. Dear gods did John Winchester piss me the fuck off, no matter how sexy Jeffrey Dean Morgan is, and seeing a younger, less jaded version of him, finally getting a dose of big fat fuckin youfuckedupyoursonslivesyouselfishasshole reality is amazing.

I absolutely love this series! Dean, Sam and Buffy fit together so well, and this story in particular was so very good. John's horror at seeing exactly how he raised his sons hit a soft spot for me--it's easy to make decisions over a long period of time, small little ones that make things incrementally worse, but seeing all the results of your bad decisions at once? That would be a punch in the gut for the younger John and I love that you showed that.

Somehow with all the holiday craziness I fell behind on this tale....which is sad for regular,"you rock" reviews, but awesome for me as I got to read several chapters in a row to an extremely satisfying conclusion. This is absolutely one of my favorite series on tth.
Your writing is descriptive, moving and insightful while your themes weave together clearly and your storylines flesh themselves out so well.
Do you have any fic not on tth?

I love all the stories in this series. I was hoping when they first started that it would be a buffy/dean, but-even if I hate to admit it-it makes sense that it's not. Your portrayal of all the characters is so realistic it's like I'm actually watching them in a weird BtVS/supernatural movie. Even John is in character and I especially love Bobby's parts. I hope they can save Dean from the deal and I also am hoping that there's going to be a run in between Ellen and Buffy at the Roadhouse sometime in the series-I think that'd be an interesting verbal fight. Can't wait for the next one!

This is a sad but inevitable ending for this story. (So, in other words, not the Perfect Happy Ending I would have wanted, but really the best ending you could expect.) I *was* surprised to see Cas, though--and the implications about what Buffy is make this even more of a sort-of cliffhanger.
I'd love to see more of this series when you get the chance. Very good work!
