Did Henri know what he had? If so, was it a plot against / for Harry or Voldemort?

i choose to think of henri as someone a great deal like ollivander - doing what will best serve his wards (in his case, snakes).

The symmetry there is beautiful. Tom Riddle with Lucius Malfoy on one side and Harry Potter with Draco Malfoy on the other. Okay that's scary. Bellatrix Lestrange could be matched by Luna Lovegood. There has to be more.
