I seem to recall there being a set of ascended beings called Seraphs in opposition to Count Iblis (an outcast of their kind), set to explain the demise of Cain and the Pegasus suring the course of the original series. I also (through checking the wiki entry on the failed follow-up series) note that Starbuck and his Cylon companion discovered a Seraph woman about to give birth.

Frankly, I can easily see the child wishing to repay Starbuck's care for his mother by giving the poor stranded guy another chance. I can ALSO see a Seraph having to lie low and be careful lest he tick off the PTB...

Very nice. Very nice indeed. I hope you will update more often. I had forgotten this fic and had to reread it halfway through before I remembered it.

I do hope from what you replied in an earlier review that since SG-1 will make an appearance at some point that the A-Team, SG-1, and Buffy and company will all get together. I love the fics where Jack O'Neill gets to speak out about kids fighting a war along with how the war against the dark make the Scoobys into more than they were, much, much more.

Oh, I don't agree that the new BSG was crappy. Granted, some parts should have been done differently, but all in all it was done better than the original. I heard stories that in the original series, scripts were sometimes hand written on the fly and run through a copier with no real editing to get rid of the worst of things. It also didn't help the quality any that they shared the sound stage with the Buck Rogers series, making for a time crunch due to swapping out the props.

It was the new series ENDING that was a complete travesty. The 13th tribe should have reached Earth and become the precursors of the Archaic Greek (way before 1250BC - the fall of Troy was around then, more like between 2000 and 3000BC) societies (or earlier and been the start of the Egyptian in the original series).

Again, good story.

first thank you for the review...to the more often part...i won't bet on it. sadly i don't have to much time on hand to write and if I have I'm mostly to lazy, but I will try. At least I can promise you new chapters to a few of my other stories because I wrote them a while ago and just need to get them back from my faithful beta Inachis.

To the new BSG. Nice that you liked it, I just couldn't really connect to it. I always liked Starbuck from the old series and the new one just turned me off the series as well as a few other things. But it would be boring if we all like the same or not?

Ohh and yes you will see SG1 and the Buffy Crew in this fic thats for sure, just not right now. Xander isn't even born yet in this fic :)

A great fun read but I was a bit confused by the Starbuck to Face switch (even though I am old enough to know it was the same actor) as well as when the story is set as the Abrams was introduced in 1980 and tv-series had them escaping in 1972. I haven't seen the movie to see how they played with the timeline. Looking forward to developments, well done and thanks.

the starbuck to face switch will come obvious in one of the future chapters...and in fanfic time is relative. atm they are around 80 near 81

Freaking awesome; Rory isn't the drunk mechanic from canon, Starbuck got away from the planet he was marooned on by that obnoxious minion of the Powers, and there aren't as many suffering from the Sunnydale Syndrome here. I'm wondering if Xander and Co. will be retro introduced here so they can reap the benefits from being trained by some of the great in Black Ops?

Well, this seems to be an oBSG/SG(-1 or A) crossover. It would be fun, if you could include nBSG.

no, no nBSG... That show was total crap in my opinion so you won't see them in this fic.

Finally, a story about the REAL BSG, not that fakey-fake phoney baloney that ran for four years. I am definitely going to stay tuned to this.
