Loved this! Kevin and Ronnie were very real while still being ridiculously funny. I would not mind hearing more about them and their brushes with any other creatures of the night, as long as a mysterious, hot redhead continues to save them just in the nick of time.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I am so excited by this! I've never had a story spawn off of a review I left. This is exactly the kind of story I was thinking of when I left that review.

I'm so glad that Kev and Ronnie decided to come out and play. You did an awesome job of getting in their heads again. I know it can sometimes be hard coming back to characters that you left so long ago, but you did an amazing job with it, and it felt very close to the Ronnie & Kev as seen in Concentrated Sarcasm. Perfect IMHO! :)

I'm SO glad you liked this one, since you inspired it I would have been really bummed if you hadn't! I swear I never had even an inkling of writing anything more about Ronnie and Kev, but your idea just sort of sat in a corner of my mind and every once in a while would whisper "hey, write me!"

Not really my usual genre of writing but I had so much fun with it, and sometimes stretching yourself can be a really good thing, so thank you for the encouragement and suggestion.

And not that there's anything wrong with "Dudes and Slayers named M", but a possible alternate title that popped into my head? "The Ballad of Kev and Ronnie". Maybe that's just me being nutty, but I think it just rolls of the tongue =P
