Talk about "sympathy for the devil." Sorry I didn't review this when you first posted. It's a nasty little mind twister for Faith, with good character exposition of her in this series.

Well if you had to have a reason to stop speaking, that would be a pretty good one. So sad! I wonder if Faith would have felt better if she had helped to stop them, or would she just have felt worse :(

She'd probably be pretty torn up either way- after all, the people that she lived with, loved, and trusted turned out to be mass murderers.

Just wanted to add - Have you considered linking or classifying your stories as series? Even though they're one shots, you have several which have the same characters and sequential, and therefore could be classified as a series. That way readers can find all the stories immediately.

I liked this story so I was reading through all your other stories, and it would have been really useful to have them classified as a series so I could read them in the proper order and make sure I read the whole series.

Putting my stories into series as appropriate is on my to-do list. I'm not sure if I'll get to it before the end of Fic A Day, though.

I really like this story. Any chances you would be up to doing a multichapter following this plotline? There's so much potential for angst.
