I'm thinking that there are going to be a LOT of very surprised people in the Summers residence next chapter(s) as Glory finds out she isn't quite as bad as she thought she was... And Buffy'll have to have her jaw removed from the basement when Clark zips back in and starts pummeling the "all powerful" Glory.
And Dawn's going to go all cheerleader girl as she watches her crush - and future mate, 'cause that's what I figure Buffy's dream meant; besides, it'll take Clark just to keep both of them out of trouble, and he deserves the Summers Sisters action! - kick Glory around like a football...
Love how I read this chapter like, 3 times already and keep forgetting to leave my rev.
anyway, you're still going with the good, Molto Bene, as a writer I can also appreciate the cliffhanger, though they irritate the hell out of all readers.
hm...what else? Oh, the Spike thing, was that actually her or was that the Buffybot?

Clark is immortal as far as I know. The Key is older than the Earth. Dawn seems human but I bet she is immortal too. Buffy is all to mortal. Clark and Buffy could get together and Buffy would die of old age before Clark got his first grey hair. Dawn could wait and get Clark in the long run if she thinks of it.
Or you could make it a Clark/Dawn from the start. Buffy does seem to have Spike after all.
Will Glory kill Clark? Can she kill Clark? Can her brain drain work on him? Can Clark kill Glory, even if it is needed?
Stupid superheros and the "no killing" hangup they have....
