Good tie-in cross. I like how it revolves around Buffy, even thought she's not there after the intro. Your characters emote well--they don't sound like they're reading dialogue. Perfect blend of "showing" and "telling," with much more emphasis on the former (as it should be).

That was incredible, though a little confusing at times. How do Dawn and Buffy know the CSI crew? Are they related to Catherine? I checked, but this isn't part of a series. As stated already, though, even with those issues, this is a worthy read, and I would love to see where you go with it. Thanks for sharing!
