Oh no! About the only way I see Dexter getting out of this is if he can fake his own death and get the heck outta there. Fantastic story, hope the next chappie will be soon, you have us all on the edge of our seats, waiting for the big finale!

I hope the next chapter will finish the story, if I can get everything to come together.

It takes a black belt word smith to jive together this many characters coherently but with major economy of words, and have it be good. My hat is off to you, sir. Great job.
Let's just see what Dex does.

Should be drawing to a close in the next installment.

Glad to see you're continuing this series. This is one of the best multi-crossovers that I've read with NCIS, Burn Notice, Dexter, with hints of other series as well.
The anticipation is growing as Dexter's world seems to be on the verge of crashing down on him. Will Dexter be able to escape NCIS, the FBI, and everybody else? Part of me wants to see him brought to justice while part of me wants to see him escape getting arrested. Looking forward to the conclusion.

The next part will be the last, if I can wrestle it to completion.

Oh, NO! It looks like things are really falling apart for Dexter, and much as I normally enjoy rooting for Gibbs and Michael and their respective teams, I really HATE to see Dexter lose it all. And poor Deb! If only for her sake, Dexter really needs to be cleared of this suspicion somehow.

No comment, except that the next part will probably be the last if I can wrestle the story to a close.

Great to see another chapter. :) Found it damn annoying - though understandable - that Dex's colleagues were more concerned about having worked with him and not known he was killing bad guys than the discovery that the dead cop murdered her own child. Waiting for the next chapter, and in no hurry to see this story wrap up. Thanks for a great read. :)
Comments from author:
I think it's mostly that they think they should have been able to sense something off about Dexter and didn't; in the other case, it isn't anyone they know and there's nothing that they can do about it, so it's just not so immediate.

You can imagine how this president of an AFSCME local felt when Dexter thought about bringing in his union rep. (By the way, a member [or enemy] of the union is gonna call it "AFSCME", not "the AFSCME": most folks forget exactly what all those letters stand for.) -- Michael J. Lowrey, President, AFSCME Local 91, Wisconsin State Employees Union (where AFSCME was born)

OK, thanks, I'll fix it. Hope you liked the idea! -- Marcus L. Rowland, member of the General Municipal and Boilermaker's Union (and no, I have never made a boiler in my life...)
