Well, somewhere roasting in Hell or lurching around as parts of or as a reanimated creature, Draco Malfoy has exactly that much comfort.

And it would have taken Ron's multifaceted control of the Wizarding Britain for Harry to have taken over and then salvaged the Chudley Cannons, so Ron has a bit of comfort going himself..

Pardons are for the guilty. Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt.

You may be looking for "wrongful conviction" or "exoneration".

Sirius is an illegal Animagus. Aside from that, he went off on his own, without notifying the authorities, to capture a traitorous friend, an act which directly led to the death of over a dozen people.

Definitely a better reason for a future together than canon.

Hah! That is a great explanation for Ron's eating habits. I knew just where you were going, when you brought up the subject. My family was very similar, except that my mom's solution from fairly early on was that there never were "seconds". Absolutely EVERYTHING was measured out/counted at the beginning and that was how much you would get, not a drop more, unless someone willingly gave you part of their share (which rarely ever happened). More begging and bribery, with fewer physical scars that way. =D This continues to be a very charming story, and I look forward to each update to see where you take us next. Thank you!
