Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from LaFlooze
Review:
Great merging of fandoms. Nicely written and good character portrayal. I can't help but guess who the other members of the Supernatural reaping team are!

Thank you!

Review:
Excellent idea and wonderful voices and characterisation. Bringing Wesley in was an interesting, if risky, variation but it worked well. It felt like it ended a little abruptly; I was expecting some afterwards discussion with Wesley, but otherwise very entertaining.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from (Current Donor)Listener
Review:
Enjoyable story. The Big Bad's motivation was a bit thin, but believe me I know how hard it can be to come up with a good one.

George cursed a lot, too. Did I miss that by watching the show on basic cable?
Comments from author:
Thanks! Yeah, when Dead Like Me aired on Showtime, every other word was cursing. It was hard for me to write like that, but I tried!

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from ShyBob
Review:
You know it's gonna be epic when Reapers and Slayers are on the same side! I really liked how you recycled one of my favorite Buffyverse characters. Well plotted story, with an appropriately despicable (and surprisingly capable) villain.

Review of chapter "Chapter 5" from Shezzi
Review:
"If Wesley's only mostly dead..." I love it. So much. Nicely slipped in - subtle. Most people are so hamhanded with the PB jokes, but that right there was a beauty. Anyone who didn't know would just think it was a perfectly normal sentence...lol. Thanks for a laugh, I'm really enjoying this so far! love xx Shezzi
Comments from author:
Thanks! I also slipped a Gosford Park joke into that chapter, but I doubt anyone got that one. :-)

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from Oranda
Review:
I really liked the direction you took this story. It had the comedy of the show without sacrificing the serious message almost every Dead Like Me episode included. Congratulations on finishing. I look forward to more of your work.
Comments from author:
Thank you! I really liked that about Dead Like Me - it was funny as anything, but it also made you think.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from Gingiecat
Review:
There's never actually been any major explanation of that, but there has been mentions of things. Happy Time Temp Agency, in the season two premiere episode "Bzzzzzzzzz!", is referenced.
And Marianne Marie Beetle from the Wonderfalls episode "Muffin Buffalo" shows up in a contest against The Piehole for best comfort foods.
And i read on the Wikipedia page that Bryan Fuller came up with the idea for Pushing Daisies as a spin-off to Dead Like Me, but it hasn't been expanded on how.
Comments from author:
Interesting. I'd like to see Rube have to deal with Ned. :-)

Absolutely fantastic.
I've been meaning to read this and just got around to it, and i gotta say i loved it!
Hope you revisit the theme, after all, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, and Pushing Daisies are all in the same universe...
Comments from author:
Thank you!

Are they really all in the same universe? How does Ned the Piemaker fit into Dead Like Me?

An excellent story. You captured both the tone of Dead Like Me and BtVS very good and it made for a successful crossover. I look forward to reading other stories from you.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from YademosEbyam
Review:
The best thing about this story was how you *didn't* change the characters so they would get along better. There are bound to be some sharp edges between Reapers and anyone living, so the fact that George *didn't* jump on the Slayer bandwagon made perfect sense. The idea that gravelings are just souls that died without a post-it seems a bit too simple though; my take is that they weren't reaped when they *should* have been and withered on the vine, either above ground (in a living body that missed its "appointment") or below (buried without collection until the body rotted away; hence "gravelings").
Comments from author:
Thank you! The idea that gravelings are souls that die without a post-it comes straight from the series - from when Mason killed Ray with no post-it, and Ray then turned into a graveling. But that doesn't mean that all gravelings are created that way - maybe your idea works, too.

That was awesome. Thank you so much for sharing it, even more for finishing.

Thank you! Yeah, I hear you - I hate when I'm really into a story, and then it's incomplete.
