Holy crap! This is so freaking hot! And I love how you didn't just toss Anya away with some lame excuse; of course she'd be right there, taking pictures. Wouldn't we all? What I like about your story is 1) It's not just smut that curves off to left field somewhere...it has a plot and you stick to it. Thank you so very much for that. 2) I love the innocence, the emotions, and the touch of softness you portrayed along with the *oh-my-god* dirty talk of Spike's. And I must tell you my hubby also loves your fiction even though he has not read it yet. *wicked grin* 3)Anya is fabulous!! I LOVE ANYA!!! normally I prefer Anya to not be there because I've only read her as a bitch, so you have so changed my view of her. I want to see that screensaver, I hope you keep going with this story, just that first seen would effect the whole seasons after like nothing else. and man that would be awesome to see some of the after affect even if their just little blips, I can't wait for more.

I unabashedly love Anya, and I think she's been done a real disservice in fanon. Too often she's written as one-dimensional or a caricature, which she wasn't AT ALL. I think it's so refreshing and interesting to have a character who's over 1000 years old, yet has a childlike wonder (and a child's jealousy, curiosity, etc.) at everything around her. There's just so much you can do with Anya. In many ways, she's the most versatile character to write.
I'm not sure if there will be more to this, but I did enjoy writing it, which is surprising, as I don't like Spike. Hopefully inspiration will strike! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :D
