Sorry this chapter didn't leave me more than mildly irritated :P Tara isn't even really evil yet! A great choice though, she is certainly one of the least corruptible characters - just about all the others have had a bad patch in canon. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of this one???

This cliche actually happens quite regularly in Buffy fanfiction, mostly with Buffy and Xander. Tara isn't as common but not unheard of.

Whoa, um, thanks! I was expecting there to be a good deal of OMGWHAT'SWRONGWITHYOU for putting Rack and Tara together. I'm calling this new pairing "Tack".

Let's see, possible new chapters:
1.Severus/Hermione would be Ethan/Willow, I would think. or Angel/ any Scooby, post S3?
2. Hermione is really a pureblood, and there's a Marriage Contract. How about--Angel's family were wizards and they entered him into a marriage contract with "the next daughter born to the house of " and Willow is the first daughter born to that house. He is of course fabulously wealthy so poor Willow has to live in a mansion and be hideously rich. Boo hoo.
3. Mary Sue -- There's a 3rd Summers sister. She's also a Slayer but better at it, is a mystical Lock (or something like that); Angel likes her more, so does Spike... Need I go on?

I guess the equivalent of Severus/Hermione would be Snyder/Willow.

For Veela - Succubus.

Wow, you have only done one and I am already impressed! I love the idea of Dawn going back in time. How would she fix everything without any power of her own? I would love to see Buffy deal with a little sister who is suddenly super mature (or at least more mature than a 10 year old) and knows all the secrets she will have over the next few years. Pity it is only one chapter :(

Ooh, I absolutely loved this! First of all of I love the idea of you using HP cliches. I simply ADORE the HP fandom and their cliches are some of the best! Big Hermione Granger fan here!!! LoL.

And second, I LOVE the idea of Dawn going back in time when the Summers family just moved to Sunnydale, It's got such huge promise, but unfortunately I want more! *cries* LoL. Too bad too, I can just imagine the the trouble/chaos Dawn could stir up with knowing everything that's already happened. Angel/Angelus, Buffy/Angel romance drama, Spike and Dru, Faith...

Anyhoo, I look forward to reading future stories!!!

Xander comes to a major(?) conclusion about why he attracts Demons; A Reincarnated God(One dealing with the demonic side of the supernatural)?; A reincarnated Old One maybe?; a reincarnated Lucifer that attracts demons who are hoping to sacrifice an 'Ignorant of/as to who he really is' Lucifer?

* going nuts shopping in Diagon Alley would be Buffy going through Soldier Of Fortune Magazine?
* Super-wand has been done - it's the Super-Glaive or whatever that thing actually is.
* Soul bonds ...
* Dumbledore being evil / insane would be Giles being evil / insane.
* Dumbledore sacrificing Harry for The Greater Good ... hmm, I really want to read your version of that one.
* Harry going Dark and killing everybody ...
* Harry discovering his "friends" are hired handlers bribed by Dumbledore
* Ginny using love potions on HP
* HP hunkering down and deciding to do whatever it takes to destroy Voldemort
* Super-friendly goblins would be ... super-friendly Watcher's Council? Not quite.
* HP / Draco slash ... so Cordelia or Drusilla?
* going back in time to the Marauder's era

Have you read Catharsis? He did something similar with cliches, redeeming them to make them awesome.

Let's see, HP cliches.Marriage Law of course (what, the council has a eugenics program?heh); Switched at birth, ie somebody else is really the Chosen One, or she's Giles' daughter or something like that. Ooh-- She's got a twin everyone thinks is the Chosen One and is arrogant and mean to her, then she gets Chosen. She's part Veela (vampire?) and has a Mate out there somewhere, probably Spike... She ran away & lived on the streets until Chosen-ness occurs. You've already done the 'travel back in time to fix things' deal.
Hm, "Buffy's diary from the future mysteriously appears and all the scoobies read a chapter apiece, finding out about their futures....". Hermione (er, I mean Willow) is really a and can dump her current significant other, get a better one and live in a mansion like a princess...
The list goes on.

Well, this certainly has the potential to be super interesting. Can't wait to see where it goes.

As far as this chapter specifically goes... You know, it's been quite a while since I've seen a BTVS time travel fic. I wonder what ever happened to those.
