This is really excellent! I devoutly hope that you'll be continuing it when you can, because I'm thoroughly hooked. I'm liking your version of early season 7 of BtVS much better than the canon version, and I adore the changes and growth that are taking place in Clark. You have my undying gratitude for writing something this riveting and truthful and emotionally mature.

Hmm...Interesting so far. Some of the stuff you let out about Xander was pretty nasty(dark) but this is your take on the universe so go crazy I guess. I like the story, but I'm a big Chloe/Clark shipper so some of their angst is hard to deal with. I know that Clark and Buffy would be okay for each other...but at the same time you've picked a rough spot in Buffy cannon to dip into(although it;'s cannon aligned and I do like that) so it's kind of hard seeing her and Dawn be such a mess. I also like the way you're trying to fix X/A...keep doing that. All in all, good stuff. Thanks for this! it's an 8 since it's not done yet, just so you know!

The ONLY problem I can see is the extreme number of spaces between paragraphs.
Having TEN LINES between paragraphs is not good.
Needs major condensing.

I remember reading this quite a while ago. I loved it then and I still love it. I especially loved the scene where Buffy and Dawn sit in Xander and Clark’s laps. This seems to have so much more room to go. Don’t Suppose you’re going to add anything to it anytime soon??? It's been March of '03 since any updating was done.
