Just finished the two stories in this series and I loved it. The possibilities are practically unlimited. I hope to see more additions to the series soon. Thanks for the stories.

Glad you enjoyed the stories. ;-)
My muse has more planned, but when I'll get to them is unknown at the moment.
I have to agree with eriktheviking, a scientific, skeptical mind like Carter's would surely think the powder Dawn threw in the air was some sort of chemical dye that would affect their skin for a short time. Then again, if she'd gone the whole way and just turned them into Smurfs, 3 apples high and all that, then clearly the powder was a hallucinogen and their perceptions were influenced by the Scoobies conversation. I can't think of any magic from BtVS that couldn't be explained by Clarke's third law, 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.' No matter what the Scoobies did, I can't imagine Carter would ever believe they were using magic. Daniel, Teal'c, even O'Neill might be convinced eventually, but not Carter.
All that being said, I enjoyed the latest installment of this story. I do a happy dance every time I get an email alert that you've posted a new chapter.

Glad you're enjoying the story.
As far as Carter is concerned, I agree with you. She's basically got a closed mind, so it's going to be very difficult for her to even begin to accept the concept of magic being an actual force available to use as either defense or attack. Thus, there's little Dawn or the other Scoobies can do until she decides to tentatively begin accepting the idea.

A well written meeting but the demonstration was way too mild, you should have made Jack a poodle or something which couldn't be replicated by science.

Yeah, Dawn could have done something like that but doing that might have caused hard feelings or bruised egos. This way, no one was hurt, and everyone from SGC was affected equally.

nice follow up and transition from the last story...got confused with the blond youth and figured it was probably Andrew as u could had been given a better description of him...loved the idea that there was a bet on the side and gives a nice break in the seriousness of the story...was wondering if Daniel would realize that the Center used to be the Watchers Council or that he had read Sineya before somewhere in his old books...was hoping that Fred/Illyria was around though...as for Xander, was wondering if he had any high tech stuff with him like an advance communication device on him so he can just transport out whenever he wants...actually a good trick for Dawn to perform is to transport O'Neill into a shower or something but that would had just been blamed as a teleportation tech...was hoping that Dawn would be more into transportation or portal magics...she obviously screwed up a threewise when she supersized herself...
i hope that there's a sequel to this...maybe they'd see Graham going out or arriving in the stargate and he'd recognize them just to confirm that magic does exist...i assumed that the medical facility/cityship under the ocean has its own stargate as well as numerous gateships...as for it being named Atlantis, well Earth is called Terra Atlantis so maybe being named after Atlantis is more of description that it's a Terra Atlantis facility than being the city of Atlantis itself as the cityship Atlantis had been moved to the Pegasus galaxy over some millions of years ago...
i think there needs to be some resolution between the discrepency with the timeline of the BTVS and SG1 stories...a couple of things needs to happen or not happen in the SG1 timeline...no IOA so the disclosure episode doesn't happen which means no British, French and Chinese involvement...maybe Senator Hayes was a commitee member that had to clean up the Initiative and was well aware of Senator Kinsey's involvement...since President Hayes' running mate was Senator Kinsey for Vice President, I'm sure that he didn't want to deal with the trouble of SG1 and Kinsey's agenda so he's just passing the buck to Giles...anyway i still hope that there's a sequel to this story and would like to read more of how Xander is going to annoy the hell out of SG1...

There will be several follow-ups to this, it's just a matter of me finding the time and opportunity to write them, and my muse cooperating, too. ;-)
As far as the SG timeline is concerned, everything after the beginning of Season Two is fair game as far as my muse is concerned. I'm pretty sure that Kinsey will eventually show up, but only because I despise the man and am looking forward to abusing him unmercifully. ;-)
Anything and everything else is up for grabs. ;-)
