I think that things are about to get VERY interesting! The news about Xander having gotten spritial enhancements from both the Heyena and Solider sprits are news that do not surprise me. With all that has gone on the past three years, its not surpsising that he went this route.

As for Faith, I hope that she turns her back on the Master. Part of the reason she went the way she did was the way the gang treated her. If they had made her feel welcome, she might have been a great ally.

Well, it looks like the game is afoot, as Sherlock Holmes would say! Xander and his allies are after the artifact, as is Fatih. But then, we have the assassin with orders to take her out. Looks like its going to be a battle royal over who gets what!

Sounds like a lot of forces are coming together on this one. If there are any other champions of Light in NYC, it might be time to find them and go to work. With what is coming there way, the trio is going to need all the help that they can get.

Just got a note about this tale at the bottom of another story that I had reviewed. It looks interesting. I just wonder if its Oz or someone else who is Faith's new toy? Either way, this tale looks interesting.

Just found this story. This is a very interesting plot. Enjoying the writing. Looking forward to reading what the Mayor will do with Buffy & Giles in their current states. Will Faith be redeemed? Will she save Xander or will Xander save her? Your descriptive action scenes are pleasing to read. Can't wait for further updates.

Nice setup chapter for the next "big" fight. also, nice foreshadowing with Buffy and Giles for the return to Sunnydale. Appreciate another quality chapter.

Well graduation didn't go as plan. I have a feeling that Faith has no idea what she is getting into when she goes up against Xander. Faith hasn't truly had any challenges in the past three years, while Xander has been hunting and surviving for those three years living off of hate and anger with Faith at the top of his to kill list.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

I always did think the 'plan' against the mayor was a bit stupid. The whole blowing up the school to kill the mayor was nice and all but why not put said explosives under the podium he spoke from instead of having to lure the snake else where? Same with the vampires they knew were going to appear why not have dozens if not hundreds of cross's to protect the students instead of just giving them rudementry training and throwing them at the vampire hordes? There is also the fact they had explosives that they could of planted around the place and exploded under the vampires feet, maiming or killing them with the fire. Buffy-verse was never very logical about vampire slaying, all about one on one fights usualy hand to hand instead of effecent and easy ways to kill the undead. I can't say I apreciated Faith kicking ass and taking so many names. After the little bit of morality holding back the Scoobies from killing a human got out of the way slayers are only human for the most part and she should died easily as the next person to an engraged buffy, a cross bow in the back etc. Yet she beat buffy and tons of other people without a scratch.

Over all it was to heavy handed of a way to get Xander to leave Sunnydale and I disliked the lack of finess. Sure in canon the Gang win without any real losses when they really should not have, but this is flipping the coin the other way where the bad guys tottaly dominate without any losses at all. Neither extreemes are believable.

Great start. Is Buffy the one being tortured by Faith? Buffy would seem to qualify as a 'favorite' prisoner. I'm not sure whether even a trained and armed Xander could take on Faith, but if either Sara or Lara is with him, Faith would go down hard. It would be nice to see a little payback for the Scoobies.
