Wow. This is a wonderful look into Joyce's mind. I love that right before she dies, she's thinking of her children, all of her children.

Jenny showing up was great, and I loved her line about Giles.

The fact that Joyce is about to die and everything looks so peaceful is ironic. That fact she comments on that makes it awesome writing on your part.

The paragraph on which Joyce thinks about what she really left Buffy and Dawn is so true.

Wonderful job, as always.

This was beautiful and sad and yet somehow satisfying, too.

Honestly, that's how I felt writing it, too.

Joyce's death was just so...devastating to me, even though I knew via spoilers that it was coming. It was just so stark and final and horrible. I always hated the thought that she was alone when it happened, and if she was cognizant *as* it happened, and what she might have thought about, so I decided to write this. I'm just so happy other people are interested in it and feel I managed to do her some small measure of justice.

Gosh, thank you! I always loved Joyce, and while "The Body" is one of my favorite episodes, it always made me very sad that such a great lady passed away by herself. I'm so pleased you thought I did right by her in this. :)
